The Senior partner is Alex Berman who has over 35 years of experience in dealing with worker's compensation cases. Initially, I got upset that I felt I wasn't being kept up to date on my case. I will say they were down a member of their team with a medical issue. Once I voiced my concern to Alex that I needed to be kept in the loop of my case I was assigned a different attorney. I was appointed Jeff Kaufman, and he did an outstanding job keeping me in the loop of the case via emails or phone calls. Jeff went way above and beyond what was necessary of him to help bring my case to a close. Jeff showed real compassion to my situations the entire time dealing with my case and was able to bring to a close before losing my home and vehicle. He did work that should have been done by the opposing attorney to help speed up the closing of my case. I give their firm and Jeff a 5 star review. Lastly, he offered to me to keep Intouch if I have any issues or other legal questions while now I go through my social security disability process which another firm is handling. I feel Like I formed a friendship with Jeff going through all of this. On another note not related to this firm but worker's compensation cases in general. It is a long process anywhere from 1-3 years I have heard of from others. The workers best intentions are not in mind of the opposing company. The independent medical examiners are a joke and only out to nail you. They are referred to as insurance whores. They basically say whatever your comp company wants them to say in my opinion. It's a dirty corrupt system, and you only have big business and politicians to blame. Just hire this firm they will protect you and be patient. Follow their advice, and I hope you come out also with a good settlement.

Had a meeting that I arrived 15 minutes to and had to leave before we could meet because he was 45 minutes late for an hour long meeting we scheduled (he was in his office). Never received any information for my case and have been left in a worse position with Alex wanting to withdraw from my case (the reason being a direct result of Alex failing to communicate to me). They had later withdrawn from my case providing statements that are not factually accurate.

During the entire time, not once was I asked to come in for a personal meeting as my condition worsened. I am a Design Engineer and design automotive components on a computer program. I was making 6 figures. $$. I I developed an intestinal condition. That blood markers said was an intestinal tumor, even though subsequent test could not locate a tumor. However, it wasn't the stomach that prevented me from working. It was the side affects from the condition. Which was extreme cramping. I couldn't even squeeze my computer Designing mouse without my hand cramping. I Can Not do my job without that ability. I can't use a keyboard for designing. After well over a year I was denied disability. But the explanation made no mention of the cramping issue. When I mentioned that to my lawyer, he requested a re-consideration. (No ability to say why). Months later, that was denied. The final stage (court hearing) came. & I was not coached at all as to the format, or what the judge was looking for. Also, no preliminary test on my ability to connect to the online hearing like I've had with other online appointments I've had. As a result, the Judge could not see me, only hear me. Even though I mentioned the cramping, I believe it was never presented by the lawyer. (Which was switched from my original Lawyer). & The new lawyer requested an additional 3 weeks from making a decision to allow for medical reports from recent Drs appointments,even though I've already submitted an inch thick medical report. I believe all that contributed to the final decision by the Judge denying my claim. My health has declined considerably since filing. I've lost about 35 lbs, since I'm not processing the vitamins & minerals I eat, the cramping issues have worsened. Had I been seen on occasion by your firm, you may have witnessed my decline.. As it is. Your firm declined any attempts to appeal that decision. As a final note. I would not have given over $100,000 for a quarter of that if I was able to continue.
