We had an initial conversation where there seemed to be genuine interest in working with us. We were encouraged to send inspiration photos, decor concepts, and menu ideas, and were told that a quote would follow. We promptly put together everything that was requested and sent it over, expecting to continue the conversation. What followed was more than two weeks of extremely poor communication and repeated unanswered follow-ups. Despite multiple attempts to get an update, we received little to no response regarding our inquiry. At no point were we given a quote, proposal, timeline, or any meaningful information that would allow us to evaluate whether this vendor was the right fit for our event. The most frustrating part was that after weeks of silence, concerns about our budget were suddenly raised without ever providing a quote or discussing alternative options. It is difficult to understand how conclusions about affordability can be made when a customer has never been given any pricing information to review in the first place. We even scheduled a call to discuss the event and specifically rearranged our schedules to make time for that conversation. Instead of the promised discussion, we received a last-minute message indicating they would not be moving forward. Had this been communicated weeks earlier, we would have completely understood and moved on. The issue was never that they declined the event--the issue was the lack of communication, responsiveness, and follow-through throughout the entire process. Wedding planning is stressful enough without having to repeatedly chase vendors for basic updates. A simple email acknowledging receipt of our materials, setting expectations, or letting us know they are unable to accommodate our event would have been appreciated. Instead, we were left waiting and following up for weeks. We ultimately are happy not to move forward with these guys because we value transparency, professionalism, and respect for our time. Based on our experience, I would strongly discourage prospective clients to rely on this catering company for any important event. Do NOT recommend.

The newlyweds have contacted The Sous Chef and have been met with coldness and no sympathy whatsoever for all of the troubles they have caused. The Sous Chef has lacked all forms of accountability for a significant number of guests becoming sick after the wedding. They have blamed it on coincidence. Their response and reasoning are unprofessional and laughable. Not only do I not recommend their catering service, but I also urge anyone thinking about hiring them to find any alternative. Very disappointed in a local NWA company after living in Bentonville my whole life.

We arrived about 10 minutes late, thinking it was just a drop-in window -- completely our misunderstanding. But the way we were treated was unacceptable. Claudette, the employee working that night, immediately scolded us like children for being late. She raised her voice, spoke down to us, and made the whole group uncomfortable. This was our first time ever going, and instead of welcoming us, she made us feel like a problem. I had already paid online for 7 people, and 2 more of my friends joined, making 9 total. Claudette told me she needed my card but never explained why. I assumed it was to verify my online purchase -- not to charge me again. Three weeks later, I checked my bank account and found out she charged me for tickets my friends had already paid for themselves. I went in person to calmly resolve the situation, and again, Claudette immediately became defensive and rude. She raised her voice, insisted "I can't help you," told me I was "on camera," and claimed my friends had spent their money "next door at the asylum." She refused to let me speak to the owner and continued arguing, even though I stayed calm the entire time. So I left and disputed the charge. Two days later, the owner called -- not to apologize, not to address Claudette's behavior, but just to question why I disputed the charge. That was the final straw. Never coming back. Terrible customer service. Friends and family -- stay away. There are plenty of escape rooms in NWA with amazing staff and better communication. This place is not worth the headache.

The space is not extremely large and I hope they can expand in the future, but they have a great setup for a fun time. The friendly staff greeted us and gave us a great explanation of how everything works. Their options for games go well beyond golf, as you can play simulated games related to baseball, basketball, soccer, carnival games, and many more. It's easy to select which game you want to play and there are different sized balls depending on what you prefer to use for each game. They have much included and golf clubs are available, but you must pay additional to rent them, so you can bring your own if you have them. I really liked their drink system. You get a wristband that you can scan on each tap for self pouring and it keeps a running tab based on how much you drink (don't worry, they will demonstrate for you and explain much better than I did). We played several games in the hour we were there and worked up a sweat! We had a blast.
