First, we were told "5 minutes," while they cleaned a table for us and they ushered us to the bar. A different waiter gave that table to another couple who just walked in. The table we got was never set with placemats or utensils, including after the food was brought. The waitress acted like it was a great inconvenience that we needed utensils to eat. Food was so-so and flavorless. Had to ask for salt and pepper, which took a good 5 minutes to be brought. No one ever asked to refill our drinks. It took more than 15 minutes to get the check (having to ask the same waitress twice). When she brought our change, she slapped down a "reserved" sign on our table and began spraying it with glass cleaner while we were still seated. Absolutely rude.

It is the place to be for dinner in the summer which will make you wait for a table really long (30 minutes at least) but it is totally worth it. The rest of the year it is very calmed and nice to be there. Also during the summer they only offer tables outside, leaving the inside area empty. During the winter time, the do offer tables both outside and inside.

Conveniently located opposite Plaza de Toros, where we were headed after breakfast. Very friendly owners and customers. We sat at the bar and ordered breakfast, like Europeans do. I had the Atun(Tuna) sandwich and TH tried the Iberian ham sandwich. The coffee/tea were great.

The place itself is unassuming, very old Spanish in style, and clearly frequented by many locals. We had just come from Granada so we had a learning curve when it came to ordering here. Obviously the employees didn't speak much (if any) English so make sure if you visit you have a decent amount of Spanish to help you with ordering. I recommend making sure to specifiy that you want tapa sized portions (if you're looking for tapas) because a couple of the dishes we ended up with were full "rationes" and 1/2 "rationes" and much bigger than we anticipated until we wisened up and started asking for tapas. Overall this place was really cheap! For 2 beers, a half order of the tomato and potato dish, a full order of ensaladilla and a tapa size of the mini ribs our bill came out to roughly €12,50. The food was well (aggressively) seasoned and very flavorful. If you're looking for authentic tapas in Ronda, this is certainly a good spot to try!
