you'll notice that the only good reviews left for them are from 6 years ago and thats bc the food/service/atmosphere have consistently gone downhill since i was a child. i used to WANT to get food here and now i dread it. not only is your food greasy but the second u walk in you realize how little theyve cleaned their vents due to the grease sticking to your body and the smell your clothes take up afterwards. btw change your chili recipe for your chilli cheese fries it tastes nasty and i KNOW how u make it back there and its gross. read more

This was the best calzone I have had in 30 years. 15$ specialty calzone... Huge. And delicious. The supreme was divine. Drove from Wheeling because I had heard good things. All understatements. FIRST NOTE - this place is now called The Pizza Box. This is an awesome pizza place. We were staying at North Bend State park and looking for a pizza place. Found this on Yelp and when we arrived at location discovered the new name and owners. So glad we discovered it. The drive was definitely worth it. Mr.Adams and his wife are the current owners. He was extremely friendly and accommodating. He explained a lot of their speciality pizzas which have different and interesting combinations. The pizza we ate was fabulous! the pizza sauce is FANTASTIC! but thats the only good thing I can think of to say. The chesse isnt real, its very rubbery. I ordered a philly steak sandwich the next time i was there and it had very little meat (which was chopped up very fine for some reason and didnt cover the bun) and only had 5 or 6 tiny pieces of peppers on it. You can get a better sandwich out of a vending machine. The calzone was very good but i had to beg for multiple sides of sauce, for some reason they are very stingy with it. The most odd thing about Boggs was the calzone challenge, if you can eat it all in one sitting you get a t-shirt or at least i thought you did lol come to find out if you do eat the whole thing in one sitting which i could never, they make you buy the shirt YOURSELF. basically they want you to pay them to promote their business? not sure who falls for that trick but thats not how you run a promotion. i do wish i could buy their sauce and mix it with pascos cheese in new martinsville, that would make a good pizza... side note- do not buy the tray of pizza , its made differently that the other sizes and its horrible. if you thought they were stingy with sauce before ,if you get a tray it will be bare. read more

There's not much to choose from in this small town just outside the Ohio River Valley. I was up there with work, and was urged by my customer to try this place out. I went and was much surprised. For a local pizza joint, the food was actually fresh and quite tasy. The crust was great, sauce tasty, service was excellent, and the restaurant was very clean. While the menu is simple, the kitchen is efficient, food prepared well, and priced reasonably. If you're in the area, definitely check it out. If you order a Calzone, be aware it could feed you for at least three meals!!! read more

I got food poisoning from their Boneless BBQ wings and have been deathly ill for almost 2 days. Constant running to the bathroom, unable to eat, nauseated, upset stomach and the like. They did nothing about the complaint asked "what do you want us to do" in the most snide way. They must believe they're physicians too, because they said its my gallbladder and had nothing to do with Bogg's. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. read more

My wife and I usually eat a couple of times a month at Boggs's, and we are always happy with the experience. The friendly and competent wait staff keep the restaurant clean at all times, and the food is well-prepared and delicious.
