The Boggi shop on Jermyn Street is the latest addition to the Milanese fashion house. They sell Italian-style menswear, many in a slimmer fit than the traditional English equivalents.
Boggi's suits are quite elegant, slim fitting and with a bit of "sprezzatura", many of them in lighter-weight cloths. Boggi also has a nice selection of shirts and ties, and some casual clothes, sweaters and outerwear.
You will also find a range of Italian-made shoes which to me seem like good value for money. At about 200 - 250 GBP a pair, they come with Blake-stitching (rather than Goodyear-welted) and are based on a fairly narrow last. Nevertheless, they are quite elegant and go well with a fitted and light-weight suit.
I would recommend this shop because it adds a bit of well-needed Italian style to the traditional bastion of British menswear that is Jermyn Street. read more
