When looking at the place from the outside it looks unassuming, but you can never judge a book (or bbq) by its cover. The inside is very comfortable and decorated nicely, making you want to stay there and enjoy some food, drinks, and music with your friends. The guys running the shop were also very friendly and patient with us as we decided what to order. One thing that jumped out the most was the beautiful mural that catches the eye the moment you walk in. We had ordered two 1-ways; the chicken and ribs. Both had sides of beans and potato salad which were so good! The potato salad had a balanced taste, with no vinegar or other bold ingredients taking over like most salads can become. The baked beans were just as good tasting with big pieces of meat inside and a healthy dose of spices that makes you want more. The ribs were also very good with a satisfying bite and good sauce. If I wanted to be really picky I would say it was slightly salty, but I don't think of that as a deterrent to getting the ribs; more of a personal preference. The star of the show was the chicken; it was almost like butter in the mouth. The bbq sauce also complemented both meats well and had a good flavor that could stand out on its own. Overall, Center Stage is a great bbq joint that ticks all of the boxes. It has a great atmosphere, really good food, and really nice people. If your looking to help support a local business, and not have to worry about cooking yourself, I'd suggest these guys. I know I'll be back for more!

When I called to tell the gentleman that the food takes like lighter fluid, he made no offer to correct the problem at all. I feel like I was robbed. Won't be going back. The sides were horrible too. I didn't know weather the Mac and cheese was Mac and cheese or potato salad! The greens were almost good...I think....maybe.....nah!! Never going back.
