So you get this reformer, that is usually the only one left because nobody wants it, and you cannot see anything you're doing. Before you even finished with the class, the people in the class after you stampede their way in, and wait by your reformer while you're still actively working out! Waiting for you to vacate your reformer so they can hop in. It's so uncomfortable. It's like they're waiting by the door like The Walking Dead, and stumbled their way in to hover over you. All in all, I'm not coming back.

It was so hard but in a good way. I felt that my 60+ year old waist got "snatched" I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to work out but daughter found this place thru Class Pass and boy was I happy. I was able to take the first class thru the Class Pass but I liked it so much that I upgraded to the two week unlimited classes that was offered. It was such a good deal. I wished Hot Pilates would venture out to the East Coast. I totally would join for life.

There is a parking lot, but unfortunately those who are going to Jenny Tate can't park in the lot. So, parking was a bit hard to find but I managed to find a metered street spot. Sucks that you have to pay for parking when you come take a class here! Guy was great, very friendly and helpful. He took the time to learn everyone's names and provided modifications for beginners and those with injuries. He wasn't judgmental like a lot of pilates instructors I've had in LA are. I can't wait to come back!

Shauna is amazing .Not only is she incredibly sweet and motivating, she really knows what she is doing and will craft each training session around your unique goals - even if your goals morph over time like mine did!! When i first started, I was coming off of physical therapy from a minor back injury and wanted to continue the strength and conditioning I was getting from physical therapy. I had also gotten out of shape while not being allowed to exercise outside of physical therapy for several months, and was a few months away from work and being so lazy to do any work out when i got started. So, she created the perfect balance of first getting my back into a place where I could then start to increase the intensity to really get myself to my ideal weight and body shape (toned arms, abs, everything!). Not only do I look so much better, I feel strong and healthy too! I have better posture all day and am no longer achey or fatigued at the end of each day. i feel more inspirational, and calming. I came across the Pilates work of BodyLeanla on instagram. I live in the UK so obviously too far to attend . I am a teacher and have my own studio. The professionalism, wealth of knowledge, kindness and patience from the team has been second to none. I have updated my teaching skills using the online and zoom workshops. Competent, skilled, professional are the 3 adjectives that best describe Bodyline instructors. This is attributed to the owner, Maria Leon who has a no nonsense approach Pilates style. I've been a student since 2016 and I am constantly challenged with the varied routines year after year. Each session seems to be more refined and perfected. I took the best teacher training program in the US at Bodyline. It's the best not only because it's a Balanced Body certification, but also because Maria Leone is the master trainer. To be taught by her is to be taught by the greatest. I have improved in my own practice and have been disciplined in the classical style of Pilates as Joseph Pilates intended. The facilities (equipment, showers, locker room) are always clean and well-maintained. Clean towels are abundant. The toiletries in the the bathroom are a nice touch (lotion, mouthwash, razors, tampons... as well as shampoo, conditioner, & body wash in the shower). Challenges happen, but germane to any good businessman/businesswoman is the way he or she handles an issue. Dru resolved the matter with such class and charm that I immediately signed up for unlimited classes after taking her Stagecoach class. The studio is spotless, geographically desirable and offers very fine instruction. The quintessential cool Pilates venue!

She is excellent at modifying the exercises for someone like me. She encourages me to try new and challenging poses keeping my knee issues and complete safety in mind. Each of my…read moreinstructors have been professional and knowledgeable about classical pilates and how best to apply the principles to what I need. I have been working with Melissa who is fabulous and so positive. I am amazed at all the exercises in her knowledge base to help whatever I need that day. Although I am sure she is great with all ages, her expertise is older adults. I am 84 with arthritis in my knees and Melissa has worked with me to strengthen my legs to take the pressure off my knees. Added to that is strength training for the whole body. I thank Whole Body and Melissa for keeping me healthy.
