I will start by saying that I don't typically write reviews unless I truly stand behind the thing I'm writing about. I have been training with Body Blast for about a month now and the only thing I regret is that I didn't start working with them sooner. They are not your everyday personal trainers. They are a team that stands behinds you and truly cares, not only about your fitness goals, but about your general goals. The communication you get with them doesn't stop when you are done your training session either. They are always checking in with you, making sure you understand everything, sharing tips, asking if you need any help, and most importantly encouraging you. The trainers are top notch and truly take the time to get to know you. They understand that each person is different and that not everything works for the same for everyone. They sit down with you and talk about your goals and what you want to achieve. They set up custom workout plans and even nutrition plans. And if something isn't working, they modify it to make sure you are getting the most out of the hard work you are putting in. This is not a "get fit quick" program. I know personally from trying most of those programs that they just simply don't work. You lose the weight you want but it all comes right back because you didn't have the knowledge to go along with it. With Body Blast, they teach you the healthy habits that create lasting results. I'm already seeing results which is the best motivation there is. I let my health spiral out of control and I eventually got that wake up call from my doctor that I was doing serious harm to my body. I knew I had to invest in myself and get the help that I needed and I can confidently say that Body Blast is helping me take back control of my health. Take that big first step and call them. You will be so happy you did. read more

With some apprehension, I joined BodyBlast a month after my husband joined, after seeing the amazing transformation in him. While my husband had a lot of weight he needed to lose, I'm 5'6 and 127lb, and wondered if I really needed professional training. I was, however, tired of getting crushed in jujitsu, tossed around like a little child..... Well, it's been just three weeks with BodyBlast and I have to say, BEST DECISION EVER! I do two one-hour sessions a week, and am getting tight and toned like I've never felt (and I've always lived an active life-style). I've also come to realize this is why celebrities and super models look soooo good, personal training + nutritional guidance really takes a person to the next level. One of the great thing about BodyBlast is that it comes with nutritional coaching, all with common stuff you can buy in regular supermarkets and based on your own schedule / lifestyle. No forced veganism/vegetarianism/low carb/no carb etc. It's truly personalized nutritional coaching and support! They don't try to sell you any supplements or packaged food. I always thought I eat okay, but following their coaching, I'm amazing at how much better I feel, how much less time I spend in some degree of "food fog" every day. Oh and as for jujitsu, choked out two guys last week, one weighed 75lb heavier than me, and put the other one to sleep..... So, in conclusion, BodyBlast is not just for weight loss, it's transformative even for smaller people! If you are hesitating, DON'T! Join and take your life to the next level! read more

I have worked out at Bodyblast Philadelphia for 1 month. I have had a really fantastic experience, from inquiring about personal training to scheduling they have been very personalized and responsive. I like that the personal training sessions include access to the gym, even when I am not working out with the trainer in addition to the nutrition program. In regards to some earlier posts, the nutrition program can be tailored to your comfort, preferences and goals. I have not had the same issues of feeling uncomfortable with the nutritional plan, I have customized it to tailor to what I want while still seeing fantastic results. For the most important part, the personal training. I have worked out with personal trainers before and have had great results, the same can most certainly be said for the Bodyblast trainers. They tailor workouts to my goals and capabilities, while pushing me in a very healthy and safe way that allows me to see results quickly. In a month I have already lost 15lbs and become far more toned than ever before. The workouts feel like a blink of an eye because the trainers are engaging and have fresh workouts ready every session. Overall, I think in Philadelphia it would be hard to find such a personalized experience with staff that really cares about your goals. read more

I made the decision to join BodyBlast in July of 2012. It has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life. My Philadelphia Personal Trainer is knowledgeable, patient and attentive. He has taught me how to exercise in a safe and productive way. He has also been instrumental in helping me make the move to a healthier diet. BodyBlast Personal Training has been a well rounded program designed for my personal needs. Now I see it as a lifestyle. When I started with BodyBlast Personal Training I was 211pounds and a 40 inch waist. I had no upper body strength. I could not do one push-up. Over the last 11 months I have seen changes in my body that I thought impossible at 54 years of age. I have lost over 45 pounds, my waist is a 32 and I can now do 60 push-ups. No more man boobs for me. The nutrition plan has given me very healthy choices that I can easily work with. Who would have imagined losing weight eating 5 times a day. I stand taller, walk faster and endure longer. BodyBlast Personal Training is not easy, there is no magic, but the benefits are tremendous. read more

I am very happy I decided to sign on with the BodyBlast team. I started training at the end of February and signed up for a 9-month program. In less than a month, I have lost 12 pounds and feel stronger and more confident then I have in a very long time. Stephen, Victoria, Eric, and Brian have been wonderful. I had major knee surgery last year and they communicate with my physical therapist to custom design workouts just for me and my recovery. The nutrition program encourages me to make changes to my diet that I've always wanted to do, but didn't really know how to do. Victoria and Stephen make themselves available when I have questions or concerns and genuinely care about my progress. I feel healthier and my family is also benefiting from my choices! I'm excited to see what the next few months will bring. Thanks to the whole team for helping me make these changes and supporting me along the way. read more

Best decision I have ever made, I have been training here for the last 6-7 weeks and have lost 30+ pounds. I feel 15 years younger. The team at Body blast, Stephen, Bryan, Eric and Victoria are really professional and encouraging. They do a thorough assessment and really worked me into the routine. There is also a nutritional component that really changed my mind about how I eat and has really helped me lose the weight as well as becoming more physically fit. I have a busy schedule with a different schedule each week and the team has always been very accommodating. I do hour long sessions and I look forward to each and every one! As I have been with Body Blast, my lower back pain, Achilles tendinitis have all greatly improved or are a thing of the past. I wholeheartedly recommend them! read more

I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but I've been training at Bodyblast Philadelphia for years now and I just had to share my experience. I've seen several trainers at Bodyblast since I've been going and they have all been different but equally knowledgeable. When I first started, I got a personalized nutrition plan that I followed in the beginning and it was easy to follow - I'm not a dieter - and it had me feeling like I was fourteen again with so much energy and minimal bloating. This gym has seen me through one pregnancy and is currently helping me through my second pregnancy. The owner is a fantastic trainer and just a great person all around. The location is under constant improvement. I highly recommend you check out this gym. read more

Been part of Body Blast going on 6 months now. I can't say enough great things about them. The coaches and staff are so friendly. The coaches are very knowledgeable on nutrition and how to truly get the best results. When I started on 1/15/18, I was at 217lbs and as of today I'm at 196 and still losing. The administrator Victoria is great. She's constantly communicating with me about my schedule and trying her best to be flexible with my schedule. I will highly recommend this to anyone who truly wants to make a big change in their life. This isn't just a weight change but a full life change. Thank you Body Blast for everything. Worked with Bodyblast for roughly 6 months and I only have good things to say about them. Their Philadelphia location is very well equipped, Stephen comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field and can teach you just about anything you need to know about training + nutrition -- while Bryan, Eric and Bobby are all fantastic trainers who know what they're doing. They're expanding rapidly in 2019, so while there are inevitably growing pains with making that big step, I'd still recommend them as a solid, affordable option for personal training in the Philadelphia area. read more

Let me start off by saying the staff is incredible and the facilities are ALWAYS clean. I started with body blast about a year ago in order to get myself back into shape for the police academy. The workouts I was put through were way more challenging than any of the physical components of the academy. I made it clear that i wanted to be challenged and pushed to my limits and the staff delivered every single time. The nutrition plan is very well planned out with all of your likes/dislikes in mind. If you want to turn your life around this is the place to be. read more

The trainers here are excellent with time management. Trainers are very alert and attentive during your workout. You never see them walking away as you are completing your reps or on their cell phones like most. They are ALWAYS engaged and motivating every last step of the way. Making sure you incorporate your muscles properly. The workouts are never to challenging where you're feeling defeated but challenging enough to where you're feeling accomplished and wanting more. Working with BB was a great choice. I recommend you try it! Go now.. don't wait! read more

I have been a gym surfer for many years but no more !! I have been working out at BodyBlast for a year and the results are amazing and I do 30 minute sessions. The staff of personal trainers are not only great people, they know their stuff. I was impressed as to how they pay close attention to your form while you are working out making sure that you are working the muscles to get the results. Other trainers I worked with never did that. I love when I see someone and they say, "wow you look great" what is your secret and I say "BodyBlast"!! read more

I hate the gym. Seriously. That's why I have to pay a trainer in order to go. Luckily, these guys make it worth paying. Nutrition programs with recipes, workouts for different intensities and lifestyles. You name it. And always a smile and some motivation to boot. It sounds cheesy, but just give them a try if you're not losing the weight, lifting enough, in shape - whatever your goal is. Even if it's the worst thing you've ever experienced... You lost 1/2 hour of your life for a good workout. Things could be worse. read more

Great group of trainers, they have such varied worked outs, lots of different activities for each session. Knowledgable, fun, personable. I'm seeing great results with their guidance and support. If you have the chance to check out their studio in Sicklerville or Center City, do, very intimate space where you can zone in on the training. I look forward to my continued journey with Stephen, Victoria, Brian and Bobbie (and whomever else is brought along with them.) read more

I cannot say enough about the owners/trainers at this studio. They take pride in each and every client they work with and go above and beyond to help everyone reach their goals. The facilities (NJ and PA) are both kept very well and have a variety of machines/weights. Each time you see a trainer in the studio training a client, they always stop to say hello and ask you how you're doing. This team of fitness professionals are by far the best team I have ever met. read more

Body Blast has the best trainers I've worked with in quite a while. They hold me accountable not just in the session but also outside of the gym. They also have made me feel like a part of another family. Very personable. The best part in my opinion is that its never crowded. No matter what time of the day or what day you decide to go. There's never a time that you have to wait for equipment. Great people. Great service. Great results. read more
