I was warmly greeted with a warm towel and taken to the women's locker room. The room was clean and had little items to make your time enjoyable such as a hair tie and a candy in your locker! I enjoyed about 20 minutes in the waiting area with a sparkling water, Oreo and some mixed nuts before heading to my massage. My massage therapist was WONDERFUL!! I had a 50 minute deep tissue massage and I wish I would have booked longer. It was sooooo relaxing! The table was heated, so that felt nice! I am 240lbs and 5'7 and fit on the table fine. I also had a 2x robe and it also fit perfectly! Definitely plus size friendly! After my massage I waited in the lobby area a little longer to enjoy my relaxation and then headed to the women's locker room to change. There is a shower if you prefer to not go home with lotion on you. When you go to leave, they will hold the door open for you and I feel like that is a very nice touch! I will absolutely be back!

It's definitely expensive compared to other spas and while you can take they really work hard to take care of customers, at a certain point the cost feels like too much for no added bonuses. The massages were great and I really appreciated that they asked about preferences and pressure. The dry brushing was kind of cool but not something I need to do all the time. Facial was really enjoyable and the woman who did it seemed very knowledgeable! The wrap was also great but if you don't like being wet and if having scrub on you and then getting under a blanket gives you the Heeby jeebies then I'd maybe avoid that one. Between sessions there was water tea and snacks available and a waiting area to relax, read, or scroll in. The vibes were top teir the entire day!

The quality of massages I've received so far is why I'm giving it 3 instead of 2 stars. The management and front desk leave something to be desired, however. I've had a few issues with them "accidentally" telling me I have no massage credits left, when I knew for a fact I did. Not sure if this was completely a clerical problem, or if they were just trying to get me to pay for a massage I had technically already paid for. It's happened 3 times now. I used to have the massage membership, but after finding out they were raising their prices and you can't carry over massages into the new year (that's ridiculous, if you ask me), I dropped it. Also, the therapists are somewhat bad at making sure you actually get a 1 hour massage. I wouldn't count on 1 hour of "hands-on" time, more like 40. Prices are still fairly reasonable, but if it weren't for Thomas, I probably wouldn't be back.

When I mentioned it at check out, the receptionist apologized but didn't offer to make it up somehow (maybe with a discounted enhancement?). Additionally, I asked to leave a 15% tip on an $80 service, which should have been $15 but she charged me a $20 tip! If I could have afforded a 25% tip, that's what I would have done. This place is terrible for customer service. The therapist in the other room should have controlled her client. They could have said something like "You have such an amazing, joyous laugh! But we have thin walls here, so we'll have to try to keep it down."

I've visited this salon a few times, but none of the sessions left me fully satisfied. Despite…read morehaving different massage therapists, the overall feeling was the same -- a lack of professional depth and attentiveness to the client's needs. Key takeaways: * Inconsistent technique -- sometimes too soft, other times abrupt pressure on sore areas * Lack of energy and genuine care during the session * Odd personal remarks from the therapist that made me uncomfortable For a place with this pricing, I expected a higher level of service. Maybe others have had better luck -- my sister, for one, absolutely loves this place -- but my experience hasn't convinced me to return just yet. Still, I hope to stop by again next time I'm in town and see some improvements.

I started getting massages from Donna because I had some physical issues. I was referred to her by…read morea friend. I was told she had very unique training and at the time, I didn't know what that meant. But I do now. She was taught by a Sister Rosalyn that is very well known. Donna also uses some techniques in her massages I've only heard Chiropractor's offer. Graston I think it's called. She uses tools to release histamine and work the muscle. My issue was first polymyalgia. A horrible ailment that strikes after 50. My joints and muscles were in pain. My body hurt so bad and Donna helped my body through deep tissue. She'd massage an area near my neck and shoulders and because my body was so toxic, she had to be very gentle. Eventually she was able to work with my body more deep than originally. My second issue came out later. I had numbness in 2 of my fingers on my right hand. I hated it. I couldn't feel anything. Donna explained to me it was due to some injury over time from my radial and ulna nerves. She showed me where they were and began to work on them. It got better! I no longer have this issue! One time I could barely get up off the floor, I had a pulled muscle in my back. I called Donna, she worked me in. Wow, did I feel better. It takes time to work out these issues with your body. I learned lots about essential oils as she uses them in her practice. The first time she used lavender on me, I was so relaxed I don't think I could have driven a car safely. I can't say enough about her hands. She goes under to your neck and very lightly massages the hair...it's healing because it's loving massage.

I discovered "Donna's Heavenly Massage" from a GroupOn special. It's not as convenient of a…read morelocation for me but I was attracted by the GroupOn deal and was going to be in the relative area later in the week so, I google mapped it and jumped on the GroupOn. I was in need of a deep tissue or sports massage. The relaxing Swedish massage are great, but I usually go for the deep tissue. Scheduling was easy, and I found out that Donna was trained by Sister Rosalind Gefre. She's the lady that does massage for the Saint Paul Saints baseball team. She even has a figurine made in her likeness. I was even more excited to have my massage with Donna, after knowing her training by such a famous expert in massage. Donna's deep tissue massage really fixed me well. She even added in some great reflexology so I felt like I got the deluxe treatment. I had a pinched nerve that she was able to make go away, and I felt great afterwards. Donna incorporated a number of different techniques based on what I needed and was looking for. It reminds of of Bruce Li's Jeet Kune Do, where he takes the best techniques to develop his own most efficient and effective style. I have made repeat visits to Donna's Heavenly Massage, even though it's a less convenient location for me (I'm located way West past Eden Prairie). I've had Donna focus on more legs or more back, depending on the week and my aches. She's gotten busier because word of mouth is getting out. Fortunately, I still have been able to schedule and get great massages from her. As I stated earlier, she has many techniques, but I really gravitate toward the sports massage, reflexology, deep tissue, and I did do a relaxing Swedish massage, after flying in from a trip. I recommend Donna's Heavenly Massage. She's located in Century Office Park, an office building right off of 94 and Century (it's near Green Mill and you can see it from the highway -it's on the frontage road). One last sidenote, she uses Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil. I never itch from it like I do from the cheaper massage oils. It makes my skin a lot more hydrated (better than lotion -I have really dry skin). Her price is the same! Good deal. I know that she also includes aromatherapy if you request it, and she doesnt charge extra (I asked). Donna's Heavenly Massage is better than a "5-Star". GREAT VALUE.

I even dealt with tears once, and I was super kind AND tipped well for the 2nd appointments. I work in leadership and assume this salon culture doesn't nurture it's employees, so they are sensitive and 'touchy' when feedback is given or new challenges are put in front of them.
