Was visiting Tallahassee and needed my piercing replaced, the girl that was replacing it took my piercing completely out and then tried to get another one in. At one point she pierced the inside of my tragus again causing me so much pain, and it was also a brand new piercing so it was already sore. My ear then started bleeding and she had to go get someone else who continued to fidget in my piercing after it was bleeding. I had to stop them because I was in so much pain. She then just apologized but I left feeling I wasn't compensated for the piercing that I had lost, plus I was in so much pain. I began my journey with them with a nose piercing that was not doing great(i had it done somewhere else) i had a piercing bump that was so stubborn i was just going to give up and take it out, I was so sad. She reassured me that we could keep trying and made me feel so much relief. They listened and took what I wanted into consideration, we had to change the jewelry twice but eventually we got there! The bump is gone and I owe it all to her Now more recently I went to get some more piercings done, i knew i wanted a tragus but wasnt sure what else. Hayley proceeded to talk with me about my goals and where i want to be in the end with my earrings. Then mapped out my full ear showing me what anatomy i have for what piercings. I have been wanting an upper ear piercing for a long time and have spent 6 months testing out cuffs and clips to see if I like the look. I made an appointment that same day but due to a car emergency had to reschedule merely an hour ish later. They were so accommodating with rescheduling and when I was finally able to come in, Jess was lovely, professional, laughed at my lame jokes, and made me laugh in return. They were totally willing to let me be persnickety about my piercing placement and had a great rapport with everyone I saw them interact with. I had my cartilage pierced, and I had to make my reservation online in addition to filling out a waiver beforehand to ensure that I am healthy. Even after the COVID-19 mask mandate has been lifted, they still request that all customers wear a mask- which is actually a nice touch considering how close and personal this kind of procedure is. Can't comment on quality of piercing because didn't end up getting one here. However, from the moment we walked in the environment was unwelcoming. The guy at the counter was rude and short in his responses. They were out of stock on the rings we wanted and he couldn't tell us when they would come in. Said it could be three months or the next day? You know when you're asking someone to drop $180 you would think they would at bare minimum be kind and helpful. His customer service was so bad there is no way I was letting them stick a needle in me. Also they charged 3x the amount for a similar quality ring and piercing than another APP location. Though Bink is not the cheapest place, it's exactly where you should be going if you want to ensure your piercing is done right. My friends and I came in on a Saturday, a day they only accept walk-ins. Getting there as close to the opening time is advisable: there was only person ahead of us when we got there at 11:10. That changed by the time I finished up my piercing - there were half a dozen people waiting when we left. My friend got a cartilage piercing and I got both Gabby and Ashley (a piercer)'s opinions on what my rook piercing would look like on/in my ears before anything was pierced. I was also given a lot of guidance on the jewelry, which was almost overwhelming in both styles and sizes. The actual procedure was efficient, clean, and done in a precise way. I was told exactly what would happen before taking in a deep breath. By the time I exhaled, Ashley had swiftly pierced the area. Ultimately, I'm a happy, happy camper. If I ever get another piercing, I'll try to make a trip here: they're THAT good. read more

Per recommendation of my bestie, I came here with her to get our tragus piercings looked at, and the jewelry changed out. As always, walking into a piercing parlor is always pretty intimidating to me, when you see the person at the counter pierced up to the nines with gauges galore. She was a little disinterested in what we were doing, since we were so indecisive with what we wanted, but she checked out our piercings to tell us where they were in the healing process, which was helpful. I was able to choose the appropriate earring (the correct size/gauge) that would fit the earring back. I chose a pretty blue earring, and she changed it for me in a very sterile environment, where they would usually pierce ears. Everything was very clean and very professionally done. It bled a little, but that was due to my piercing not being 100% healed before changing it out. She promoted using saline to clean the piercing, as well as mild liquid soap. At the register, I checked in on Yelp and was able to get 10% off my purchase, yay basically, no sales tax..). It's relatively cheap here, regardless, so whenever I'm having piercing issues or creative ideas... I will have to make a stop here when I'm in town for the good deals and clean service. read more

This place was such a great experience for my first body piercing! First of all, making an appointment was very easy and I would highly recommend doing so since they're pretty busy to do walk ins. And once I got there, the entire staff was extremely nice and professional and my piercer helped to put me at ease because I was extremely nervous. I came in for a regular navel piercing but was informed that it could be dangerous with the location of my intestines, so they worked with me to find one that I would enjoy! I honestly wish I could give higher than 5 stars. Everyone at this location was so amazing that it made the experience go from nerve wracking to fun. I am a bit older than most clientele and employees but never felt out of place. Getting personal piercings without a friend for support, I was definitely nervous. Jess at the front desk was incredible in greeting me and going over all of the instructions. I felt like my questions were heard and answered thoroughly. My piercer was Phoebe who was equally as kind and calm as Jess. I felt she really could tell I was nervous and made sure to chat with me to put me at ease. I also saw her change her gloves a minimum of four times during the cleaning/coloring of my hardware. I felt that this shop was super clean in both atmosphere and policy. I felt so at ease, and the pain in getting nipple piercings was not nearly as bad as it could have been in a shop that didn't put me at ease. I really enjoyed my experience getting my tongue piercing done here. As someone with several prior piercings so more than my fair share of piercing experiences I would have to say that this was the best by far. Everyone was welcoming and my piercer was professional but personable which was much appreciated! Also worth noting is the sense of fast camaraderie felt between the staff and their patrons that you quickly become a part of when you enter the shop. While everyone is welcomed you can't deny the feeling of 'girl power' when you are there. Very empowering to see in an otherwise male dominant industry. The only fault I could think to mention is that when I went to the shop for the first time on a separate occasion I purchased a charm for my septum piercing and was a bit surprised by the price considering I was only buying a portion of the jewelry. Costing me almost the price I would've paid for a piercing at another shop. I realized, however, that you are paying for quality products and services that are going into/being done to your body so at the end of the day I personally feel that the pricing is just. Just know when you go in beforehand. Overall, the quality and look of the jewelry, the knowledge of the jewelry by the staff, and the wide range of ways to customize their jewelry sold me. I went to Bink the day after a negative piercing experience at a different piercing shop in town. About an hour after I left the original studio, I called Bink to see if they'd be willing to do a jewelry change because I was incredibly unhappy with what I had. They agreed, and I went in the next afternoon- it was a Saturday, and they were busy, but I was still seen fairly quickly. Had I not gone to Bink, I am certain I already would have ripped out these piercings. Not only did they switch out my jewelry, but they were courteous and incredibly helpful when I began to feel a little dizzy. I was given a sugar pill and an ice pack, and she waited until I felt 100% before she switched out the second piercing. Moreover, she checked to see what aftercare instructions I had been given at the other studio, and informed me that I had been told piercing care instructions that were about two decades out of date and would prolong my healing/put me at risk for infection. She gave me proper aftercare (no problems so far!) and also offered to give me advice when I began shopping for new jewelry, after warning me that many online jewelry shops do not offer safe/reliable metal. She said that if I ever had any questions about the legitimacy or quality of jewelry online, I could email them the link to the shop and they would let me know if it was worth buying. I had a wonderful experience here, and I wish I would have gone here in the first place- the only reason I didn't was because the piercings were $50 less at the other studio. I came in to get my second piercing in my lobe. I made an appointment, and was well taken care by the girls at the front desk. I will say that when I came in to look at the jewelry on a weekend there was a guy that seemed a bit annoyed and was a bit unwelcoming. The jewelry seems to be way over priced ( I paid 130 for both earrings and the piercing cost) but because of how great my piercer phoebe was, I'd go back again. I went to Binks to see if they had any recommendations. The girl at the front was SO kind and helpful. She went over very detailed care instructions. They also switched out the piece of jewelry for me to a piece that would be better for healing. Ashley changed out the jewelry for me and was so gentle and kind. This studio is also set up very cleanly; you may notice a trend with that! I had never had a body piercing before, so when I was taken back, I wasn't sure what to expect. Everything was explained to me, but my adrenaline still rocketed once the first needle slammed through my skin. Hey! hey! I'm no whiner! That was a delicate area! I got nauseated. Go no further when looking for a place to get a piercing! I got my cartilage pierced here and it was the best experience. Bink is a registered nurse, so I felt like I was in safe hands. All the jewelry is hypo allergenic which was great because I'm allergic to nickel. He used a needle to pierce my cartilage which, if you know anything about piercings, is so much safer then using a gun. Afterwards, I recieved emails from them checking up on me and asking how my ear was healing etc. My friend came with me and got her belly pierced. Again, it was a quick and rather painless process. We both had great experiences. Only downside is if you want quality, you have to pay or it. I paid around $75 for my piercing (ouch!). But I'd rather do that then end up with an infection or shattered cartilage. read more

I have been going to them for over a year now. I got my nose re pierced after my previous one kept falling out. This nose ring NEVER came out and they shorten the stem for you after it heals so it NEVER snagged. I'm also stretching my ears and they always tell me if they think I'm ready to stretch again or not even if they don't make any money off of me. I will never go anywhere else in town! I had been thinking about getting another piercing for about 6 months before I finally took the plunge and started looking around. Bink was recommended to me by multiple people who had gone here in the past and I knew I made the right decision as soon as I walked in the door. The lobby area was super clear and the person behind the counter, Gabrielle I think, was super friendly and helpful. I knew exactly what I wanted which definitely made it easier right up until I saw the amount of jewelry options they had to offer. Since I was just getting a helix, I had probably 40-50 earring options which was a bit overwhelming but nice because then it still felt a bit spontaneous. Although the jewelry was a bit more expensive than I was expecting, I was thrilled to learn that all the options were implant-grade materials. I have a pretty severe reaction to nickel and even surgical steel can cause some irritation for me so I was overjoyed that my options weren't limited at all. I was impressed that I was asked if I had eaten beforehand (I hadn't) and was offered a snack if I was concerned about passing out (I wasn't but it was great to know that they had protocol for that.) After deciding on my piece and filling out some paperwork, I was brought to the back to meet my piercer, Phoebe. The piercing room was cleaner that some of the doctor's offices I have been in and even smelled sterile. Phoebe was really peppy and chatty with me so I didn't get nervous at all beforehand. I mentioned that all of my other piercings had been done with a gun instead of a needle so I wasn't sure how it worked. She explained every step of the process and cleaned the area with both rubbing alcohol and iodine, again super clean, and let me know when it was time to take a deep breath. I felt a bit of a pinch but I wouldn't say it was painful and Phoebe gave me a mirror to look before I even realized that the earring was in! She explained aftercare and that I would need to come back for a shorter post once the swelling goes down. I absolutely love my piercing and had an incredible experience! The ladies are very nice, professional, and helpful. I got my nipples done and was comfortable the whole time. I gave four stars because one of the piercings is a bit crooked. My OCD self notices it and is a bit annoyed, but I'm just happy to have them done. On another note, I'm very happy with how the piercing has healed. I was really nervous that I was going to have the dreadful "crusties" that I had read about online. However, I don't.
