    Never open staff is unhelpful and they do not seem to have business hours where they answer the phone.

The location can use a fresh coat of paint and deep cleaning of the facility. Gave a three star because the equipments work as expected. Our experience with Gyms is that the closer you are to one, the less likely there will be a sting of excuses on why we shouldn't get over there. Now that we're in Genoa, this Anytime Fitness is 8+ miles away, with their branch in Gardnerville perhaps a little closer. We could think of a few places in greater Genoa that could hold a gym, but I doubt that will happen. There's also a small gym near the Ranch course, but we can't join as we don't live in that development. So, for better or worse (location-wise), here's where we'll be for the near future, even though we probably won't be coming as often as we'd like. Residual COVID restrictions are currently precluding the full utilization of their space. On that note, Gayle and I have found their mask policy to not be consistently posted, explained, or followed. Suffice it to say that at this stage, it's not worth making a fuss about it. This is Nevada after all. Plus, being vaccinated allows some breathing room, even as we both remain careful looking out for ourselves. Besides this, the machines are clean and there's plenty of supplies sprinkled around to clean them between uses. We have found the best time to come here is mid-afternoon, as there aren't as many people around. There's a nice selection of equipment, good cubbies for our gym bags, and a couple nice large rooms in back for group activities. The background music is nice and there's a couple TVs that are easily changed (with participant consultation). I personally enjoy about 40 minutes on the treadmill and followed by circuit machine work. Gayle and I have also talked about adding some trainer time, if only to make sure we're using the machines correctly and in an optimal exercise order.

    This location has a gym area and a massage area…read more To start with the gym: There are numerous very kind and easy to work with personal trainers. They tailor their workouts for the individuals either in a class or solo. The personal training is really great. It teaches you how to properly stretch and the proper way to lift weights. The classes are throughout the day and target different age groups and interests. They are designed for any level of difficulty. They give the group the assigned exercise. Then the instructor demonstrates the beginner level to the group. This is really great for those who want to ease into the sessions. The Boomer Bootcamp has done wonders for my mother and her friends. She has demonstrated increased strength, endurance and has lost weight over the last five months. She truly is eager to attend her classes and is more energized through out the day. The tidal wave class is very fun and at a faster pace than the boomer boot camp. It is based on rowing and intermixing other exercises. This class is very popular. Get here early! Massage: Wow! I can only say simply "the best massage I have ever received!" And I have experienced many massages and none of them have come close to this experience. She spent every minute diligently working and it was so relaxing. Following the end of the massage she advised me on stretches and other things to help prevent future pain where most of the knots were found. She was quiet and efficient. Truly excellent.
