He is watching at all times and I appreciate that. I also love the encouragement that the gives me. His statement, "you are not here to try, you are here to work" lives rent-free in my head. Instead of being welcoming or professional, the employee openly expressed that he did not like my son and stated that he would refuse to sell me guest passes in the future. I found this behavior completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Guest passes are offered by the gym as a service to members, and personal opinions about a member's family should never influence whether that service is provided. The employee's comments made both my son and me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I expect staff to treat all members and guests with respect, regardless of personal feelings. Management should address this issue and ensure employees maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers.

Coach Ashley in the morning was fun and led us in a good warmup before proceeding with the WOD which was clearly written on one of the TV monitors. I loved being able to get a good (and challenging) workout and also engaging with a lot of the local athletes. Everyone was welcoming and it was fun to crush a pretty advanced WOD. Although I would argue that the 400m run around the gym is a bit longer than 400, I can't be too upset at working my body up just a bit more. Thanks TTL for the great drop-in experience. I am giving a one star because of the predatory practice that OrangeTheory has in cancelling. I requested a cancellation a few days before my charge date because I don't have time to go regularly anymore. The employee told me "I'll take care of it for you," so I assumed, like when I put my account on hold in the past and they said the same thing, that they would do so. On September 7, I noticed I had been charged for the month of August when I had asked to cancel. When I reached out, I was sent a survey to cancel, so I completed it. On September 16, I was charged for yet another month. So, now this is $200 that they have taken from my credit card when I canceled beforehand. In communicating with the regional manager, they said they cannot give me a refund because there is no record of my cancellation prior to September 7. That is because the employee forgot to put it into the system, so now I have to pay money for a gym I am not even attending because someone messed up on their end and they're not being held accountable, or they're just lying that I asked them to do it so they don't get in trouble for forgetting. Then I was told that they require 30 days notice. NO ONE TOLD ME THIS UNTIL TODAY! In a company worth so much money, I don't see how they cannot refund me. In this economy, $200 isn't nothing. I am so sad about this because I always planned on returning to OT when my schedule would allow for it in a few months, but now I will not be returning. I am really hurt that they could easily refund me because it's a company worth over $1 billion. $200 is nothing to them, but a lot to me. It is shocking that this is how they treat people who have been loyal to them for so long. Be careful if you sign up for OrangeTheory because this is a predatory practice, and I can't be the only person who has had this happen to them.
