Studio Fitness used to be my favorite gym in the Lehigh Valley. I was a member for two years and…read morethe first year was amazing. There were plenty of classes and the instructors were awesome. The last year has been rough. There's not many classes. And if you work later than 5 pm, you're not making a class. I once showed up to a Friday morning spin class only for the instructor to say she couldn't work the speakers and then canceled it! A lot of spin instructors have come and gone. Doug and Rachel were the best but Doug has now since left. So to pay $50 a month only for a couple classes a week is a lot. I have not renewed my membership and have since joined a new gym that is cheaper and gives me so many more options.

I rarely attended, and did not work out hard when I did. Sure, Nak Muay is not inexpensive. However, you are receiving the equivalent of a training session with every class. The people in class next to you grow to be friends given that you are training together multiple times per week. This gym is also woman-friendly! That doesn't mean it has purple frilly mats. That means you will find other women in just about every class, and present as instructors, they are also ranked within the World Kickboxing Association. Lastly, the kids program is highly recommended. In just 6 months, our young niece saw a boost in confidence that translated to better grades at school and improved behavior thanks to the discipline that martial arts affords.
