Wan is very insightful, the class is rejuvenating and the gongs and bells are played beautifully. I felt so relaxed, like I was floating after class. I wish I could bring her to every city with me! I took the pictures before the room was setup. I regret not taking pictures after because it looked beautiful

I have been there about two weeks now but I am very glad that I made this decision. I have noticed some changes in my health and mind. I no longer faint because of low blood pressure. I am getting up without an alarm clock (and it is early enough). I sleep very deep. My body is not cold any more. I am becoming more accepting and calm. The instructors are all very nice. Their approaches to yoga are different from each other. Their teaching styles also vary. But what it means is that I can always find a class that my body and mind need. Personally, I really enjoy (and learn a lot) in Lisa's and Laura's classes. I like getting feedback and correction so I really appreciate it. The studio is beautifully designed and is always clean. It is a great place to meet people, too.

What a neat little find in a small town. Tribute Power Yoga has that welcoming, slightly hippie,…read moreboutique-studio energy that instantly makes you feel like you belong--even if it's your first visit. From the moment I stepped inside, the vibe felt warm and grounded. The studio itself looks like a converted house, which honestly adds to the charm. Cozy, intentional, and community-driven without feeling cliquey. My class was fantastic. MJ, the instructor, was an absolute gem--warm, attentive, and clearly teaching from the heart. The flow was strong but accessible, and the room sat comfortably in that 80s-90s heat range (weather permitting). The real standout moment? An extended savasana where MJ gently placed cool lavender towels over our eyes and softly pressed our temples. That kind of personal touch is the magic of a small boutique studio--and it felt amazing. The community here is genuinely friendly. I also appreciated how relaxed the atmosphere was around arrivals--people were able to quietly slip in after class started without any of that rigid, locked-door energy. Very human. Very kind. Another big plus: they truly offer everything you need. Complimentary mats, towels, and mat towels--just bring yourself and some water. Plenty of cubby space to stash your things, too. A few helpful pro tips for first-timers: * The front of the building is not the entrance. You'll need to walk around back to the gated lot and look for the colorful door--that's the actual entrance. * Don't arrive too early; the door stays locked until closer to class time, so you may end up waiting outside. * They do have a shower, though the hot water wasn't working the day I attended, and the heat didn't quite push past the 80s--likely due to snow and some wild weather that day. * Not available on ClassPass, which may matter for travelers, but they do offer very affordable drop-in and membership options directly through the studio. All in all, Tribute Power Yoga feels like a true community space--welcoming, unpretentious, and full of heart. If you're in Lubbock and looking for a studio that values connection as much as movement, this one is worth checking out.

This Lubbock visit was next-level -- and honestly, the front desk associate made it. My experience…read moreat HOTWORX stood out immediately because he was working completely solo and still handled everything like a pro: cleaning, vacuuming, bathroom upkeep, answering calls, helping curious walk-ins, opening the door for non-members with questions, and guiding guests without missing a beat. He also preheated and set up every one of my sauna sessions and had all the equipment ready to go. I've been to a lot of HOTWORX studios and have never had someone take that much initiative. Give this man a raise -- he absolutely crushed his job. The franchise itself keeps delivering -- infrared sauna workouts, 24/7 access, kiosks, day passes, retail gear, and tons of class options. Cycling and bands are still my favorites, and I especially appreciated the larger bike seats for bigger tushies -- a small detail that makes a big difference in comfort. Another thing I loved: every single sauna had sanitizer, wipes, cleaner, and towels set up right outside, so you can clean your equipment without hunting anything down or asking staff. The studio lighting is darker and easier on the eyes (no harsh overhead glare), the music is good, and the setup keeps you locked in. Add the back gym area and shower and it checks every box. Strong recommend for this location.
