They were friendly but not in that fake way that you see in a lot of the surface industry. I was offered a choice between tea and water and was given my paperwork to fill out. My facial with Terril was very relaxing. We went into the treatment room and discuss what my concerns were with my skin and what I was hoping to get out of my appointment. Terril was very attentive, asking questions along the way. One thing I really liked was that the table was heated because I've been having some issues with my back that make it uncomfortable to lay down so having that heated surface under my back made my appointment even more relaxing. My skin felt amazing when she was done, even though she had to do a few extractions. I was so pleased that I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for a few months out so that my skin will be able to recover from the upcoming summer months. I highly recommend checking out this wonderful little spa and I look forward to returning for my next facial.

You can feel the positive energy the moment you walk in. The salt rock room was beautiful -- almost magical. Such a peaceful, calming space that instantly sets the tone for relaxation. They were attentive, professional, and made sure I was completely comfortable the whole time. By the end, I felt completely euphoric -- almost like I could have drifted off to sleep right there. That's how relaxed and amazing I felt. It was exactly what I needed. If you're looking to truly unwind and reset, I highly recommend booking here. ‍

Thanks to Harmony, my body is much happier. As someone that is very physically active and hyper-mobile most days it's holding tension, fatigued, and with general aches and pains. I had been waking up with a stiff back every morning and experiencing nerve pain throughout the day and since meeting with her it's been so much better. Through my session with Harmony I've found a lot of relief. During and even hours after the massage I felt like I was floating. She tends to the body with great patience, care, awareness, and attentiveness- holding space to allow the muscles to release by applying the movements and pressures that the body is asking for. She has so much knowledge of the mind, body, and spirit that has been seemlessly integrated into her practice. She provided a lot of really amazing information on aftercare to support the body with the work she does. I can now pin point the areas I need to work on on my own a lot better and they're more accessible. A massage with her will be in a relaxing atmosphere that she's cultivated with intention, it will be highly restorative- suggesting new patterns to the body, and leave you empowered to help your body heal. My experience visiting Body Aware was so very wonderful and I look forward to going back. read more

I was sent to Aradia on the recommendation of a friend of mine after a crash on my scooter. My shoulder and arm were in a lot of pain and pretty much immobile, and after just a half an hour with her a good chunk of my pain was lessened and my mobility improved immensely. I've had access to massage therapy since I was a kid and this was one of the best time to result ratios I've ever experienced. Incredible! Even in such a short time, I really felt like she was able to connect with my body and perfectly target the spots that needed work. Her experience and skill was obvious as soon as I was on the table. I could feel the power and strength in her touch mixed with a necessary gentleness; just what I needed after an accident. Her receptive and warm personality added to the experience by making me very relaxed and totally comfortable in my own skin. Basically, I couldn't have asked for better massage treatment after an injury. Thanks, Aradia! read more

I have had two massages at this establishment, and I cannot compliment the skill level of the therapists enough. The first massage was with Elizabeth Pond. She was kind, compassionate, and very knowledgable. The pressure was amazing, and I left there telling her it was the best massage I had in years! The second massage was with Hazel Frost. Wow. She is amazing! She offered up so much advice on exercises I could do to help my body feel better. The massage targeted all of the areas that I was truly suffering from (from carting around a 20lb baby). I was sore the next day, in a good way. My body feels so much better, and I can't wait for my next massage. Both therapists were like tension hunters, and I was beyond impressed with their talent and intuition. The prices are also fair, offering a discount for locals! read more

Rebecca is absolutely wonderful, she worked with me for an auto collision related back problem which needed special care. Rebecca is very, very perceptive, with hands like two little nuclear reactors that relentlessly but carefully chase down the origin of the pain source and soothe it out. It is definitely a medical massage as it is insightful and progressive in relation to the healing process, rather then a casual mechanical "move the blood around" type of a massage. Rebecca is a serious professional that clearly cares about the healing that she does, and it was a pleasure healing with her. read more

Body Aware Massage is a great little space conveniently located on Alberta. I've had massage from both Tate and Elizabeth. Tate gives an excellent massage with a very technical approach. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. I recently started commuting by bike, and Tate was able to help my sore muscles as they get accustomed to this new exercise. I highly recommend her for deep tissue work and injury treatment. Elizabeth gives a strong, deep massage that is very relaxing. She is very warm and approachable. There is truly no other massage therapist as intentional with her care as Harmony. I am so grateful for my time spent on her table as each session has eased all of my tension and offered healing to a body that I (admittedly) a very tough on. Townshend's Teahouse sits just below and the aroma alone as you near the building is delicious. Before Aradia began Body Aware, I fantasized about living up there. The lighting is warm and inviting, and most importantly the massages that I have received from Aradia are healing. She gave me a massage once after I was in a wreck and I nearly fell asleep. Travis Jonquil gives a great deep-tissue massage for amateur athletes like me. I had a serious running injury last year and his work on my legs was a key part of my recovery en route to running the NYC marathon. This is a wonderful location in the heart of Alberta St. hot spots. I've been having some neck and shoulder issues from sitting at a computer all day. Travis has been slowly and meticulously working on specific muscles and tendons each session, explaining as he goes, coaching me on breathing and educating me on ways to exercise to relieve the pain.
