"A 41-inch bust and a lot of perseverance will get you more than a cup of coffee - a lot more." -Jayne Mansfield (1933-1967)
After enjoying a French Press coffee at a restaurant in Maryland, I asked my wife to purchase a French Press for us to enjoy at home. It turns out that the leading brand for such things is Bodum and we now have a shiny new French Press (from Amazon, of course) manufactured by Bodum.
Bodum was originally launched in Copenhagen but is now a global brand with distribution in 55 countries. But it all comes back to the headquarters here in Triengen, Switzerland.
Founded in 1944 in post-war Denmark, it started off as a French Press coffeemaker manufacturer with that simple Swiss design aesthetic. They've since expanded into other products - vacuum coffee makers, tea presses, juicers, coffee grinders and more. But they are still known for their industry leading French Press.
French Press is my new favorite way to drink coffee at home. I'm so pleased with our new coffee machine!
