Julien sat us down individually and designed the tats effortlessly. It was mind blowing. He then tatted each of us individually (only 1 person allowed upstairs in the tatting area). So we chilled downstairs near the cafe (it's so cool you can get something to drink while you wait). I had a matcha green tea with oat milk, was not good but I drank it. Anyway, I am IN LOVE with my tattoo and Julien did a PHENOMENAL JOB I'M BLOWN!! No after care instructions are given and though I'm not new to tattoos, I've never had the saniderm on after getting tattooed so some after care instructions would have been nice (we had to look up some instructions online). It's cash only so be prepared. They do have an ATM but you will be charged fees by your bank They didn't provide a receipt which was also lowkey annoying but I didn't argue it. I have been tattooed at this location four times, once by an artist who is no longer there, and three other times by Ashley Dale. I cannot say enough great things about the shop. It is super conveniently located, very clean, and has friendly staff to make sure you feel welcome. They even have clothes for sale with some of the artists' work that was suuuper well priced on my last visit. Ashley's work has always been beautiful and is consistently the pieces of mine that I get asked about most on the street. You wouldn't believe the number of people who stopped me in Costa Rica to point out my Dali tattoo. Overall the artists in the shop are great across the board and the place is clean, stylish and very well maintained. You shouldn't have any hesitation about trusting the artists here to put out great work.

On a whim, I messaged her and she had availability while I was in town. I had told her in the message what I had liked and what I had in mind. Day off, she had sketched up the perfect tattoo. She was really sweet and the overall vibe of the place was comfortable. Everything was super clean! Meaghan obviously takes great pride in her work. The shading was very realistic. He was extremely friendly,…read moreprofessional, and made me feel at ease from the moment I stepped in the studio especially since it was my first time getting pierced with a needle (gunned my lobes, my teenage self didn't know better). He walked me through every step of the process and addressed any concerns or questions I had. It goes without saying that the studio was exceptionally clean; gloves were changed every time he handled something different. He's also APP approved. What really impressed me was the great length he went to examine my nose and mark the best placement. After the piercing was done he explained the healing process, how to flip it up/down and tighten the balls, and anything else I was uncertain about. Finally, he had the receptionist sit me down to go through the detailed aftercare instructions (few pages long) to make sure I understood it thoroughly. As soon as I left the studio I knew I had to tell everyone to go to him to get pierced if they're in Montreal. Their prices are pretty high compared to other places but you definitely don't want to be stingy when it comes to piercings (and tattoos). They also only use high quality, internally threaded jewellery by reputable brands like Anatometal and BVLA. Highly recommended!

He offered to add some customization to the design that I brought in and I'm so glad I accepted his suggestions. We both speak Spanish so it was really nice getting to bond with another Spanish speaker while getting tattooed. He was kind, patient, and made jokes with me as I braved through the pain. I'm from the US but the artists in the shop were so welcoming and kind that I would fly back to Montreal for my next tattoo. Since the price is in Canadian dollars, it was slightly cheaper than what I was expecting so that's definitely a plus.
