I'm not a regular Customer, so I can't really speak to the various menu items here. This review is really more about how I was treated. I walked down the street from my hotel, hungry and looking for a place to eat. I walked in the door, took a minute to practice saying the name of the thing I wanted to order since I don't speak German, and managed to order a calzone.
I thought everything was fine but it turns out they don't accept non German credit cards and I didn't have euros. Fortunately, the owner of the establishment took my $20 USD bill and gave me change in euros. He didn't have to do this and honestly don't know if that $20 bill is even useful to him, but I'm extremely grateful that he took it and if I'm ever in Friedrichshafen Germany I'll make sure bring euros and give him a nice tip. Danke schön! read more
