My husband and I, along with our two little ones decided to give this place a try, and we were very pleased with the service we received from Misty and Jose. They were extremely busy, but still took their time with us. When they were unable to serve us, they told us in advance it will be a few minutes because they are helping others. We learned a lot about Spanish wine and enjoyed casual dining that accompanied our wine tasting. We contacted the shop prior to our visit. Please please please go visit this little slice of heaven! My friend and I walked in looking for some local wine to bring back to the states as gifts. Misty was amazing and so incredibly helpful. She asked us questions about our preferences and let us try multiple wines to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We walked out with more wine than we could possibly fit in our luggage. This was my favorite find in Barcelona. You can't beat their prices and quality. Didn't try any of the food this time, but I will be returning! read more

Best wine shop experience ever! The owner is a passionate and slightly quirky (like myself) oenophile who was helpful and let us sample some vino via a coravin before making purchases. Ambience is like a mix between an old timey carpenter's workshop, bodega and an antique store. You can find obscure bottles here, share a glass or bottle of vino (evenings) or fill up a can full of cheap wine from the casks. Clientele are a mix between locals and expats, but the owner seems like a guy who is not going to turn this into a tourist hotspot anytime soon. This is one of the few places we visited that we felt still retained a sense of authenticity of the region in Barcelona. read more

We found this gem during our stay in Barcelona. It's an old style bodega run by the owner Jose. We went in on a Tuesday evening at 5:30 pm and the place was already busy with a mix of locals and tourists. The front desk girl was very kind and got us seated with water and cheese. The tasting is custom based on your likes/dislikes and hosted by the owner Jose who is very knowledgeable. He uses Coravin and so no wine is off limits. All the right wines in our 5 flight tastings were rated 4.0+ on Vivino and were exceptional wines for their price. Jose also let us try to additional wines at a reasonable cost. We ended up by 2 bottles to take home. Great environment, kind staff, exceptional wine and cheese. Highly recommended for wine lovers who want a custom wine tasting experience. read more

I went here on a food tour. Best olives, cheese, bread, OMG the bread, made by a bakery nearby. Go for a carafe of wine from the barrel and some salami, cheese, etc. evidently these bodegas were everywhere before the olympics, now they're a dying breed, so I enjoy supporting them before they're gone for good. Take away wine from a barrel 2 euros per liter! read more

A hidden gem in Barcelona old town. A wine house where getting the god's drink is a sign of good election. Because maybe they don't have the biggest selection and maybe they don't have either the best wines, but they are the best in the way they guide you through their variety and the kindness they have with you. Also the atmosphere is really adequate and fits perfectly in the neighborhood. It can be the place where don Quijote bought his wine when he paid a visit to Barcelona in his infamous book.
