It's a little tienda just inside the security gates at Bahia Soliman (soliman bay) - about 10K north of Tulum on the coast. Soliman bay is a private community of some 40 residences, many of which are vacation rentals. El Bob is the only store on this strip. It's really just a place to grab a cold soda, an ice cream or other junk-food treat, and really just has the basics. But it's called El Bob, and I think that's the best name ever for a market.

My Family enjoyed the experience while I was savoring childhood memories that almost brought tears to my heart. Dealing with the vendors while walking through the market can be overwhelming as they can be pushy to purchase from them, politely decline and keep walking .
