So I was trying to make this a DIY project. I tried the wrench/allen wrench method, nope. I tried the 4 lb sledgehammer method, double nope...time for the back up plan. Honestly i wasn't expecting junk disposal to be open on The 4th of July, but Franz replied to my message quickly and was at my place 10 minutes early. The price he quoted was $75 this was a flat fee. Considering that he was there in less than 30 minutes on a holiday, this price was quite acceptable. Franz is quite a formidable man and while I probably would have had an issue getting the futon frame down the 1/2 flight of stairs, he did it effortlessly. Frantz and Ozzy did an exceptional job and made the whole moving process really easy for us (well as easy as moving can get) . I contacted them through Yelp and was able to make an appointment right away at a time that worked for us. They were punctual and got to work right away . We had a few flight of stairs and these two did not even bat an eyelid before hauling all that stuff up the stairs. It started drizzling a bit but they continued moving and only stopped when the truck was full. The unloading was as easy too. They were both very professionals and efficient and I would highly recommend them for the kind of work they put in . Also , would like to note that they are very careful with stuff they know is fragile, I only had very minor damages to a couple boxes but that is expected while moving . I've been putting off this review. These guys are really solid movers and it hurts me to post this, but frankly the end of my move really pissed me off. I initially received a lot of quotes and went with these guys who weren't the most expensive or the cheapest based on reviews. I was quoted $125/hr for two men plus an 85 flat fee for the truck.They were scheduled at 9 and showed up at 9:10. They charged me for the 10 minutes. They were unbelievably strong and efficient. I was impressed. We used my mattress bags. I had a set of stairs and the smaller guy held his own. They had good spirits. It took 3 hrs and the "10 minutes". Afterwards I made the mistake of asking if they also assemble furniture. They said they did and quoted me the same $125 but said it would be fast because it was the two of them. I wanted a bathroom cabinet assembled. They thought it should take about an hour. At 75 minutes I about freaked and stopped them. It was barely assembled. They charged me for 75 minutes at $125/hour. I had already tipped them each $20. It's still not assembled. One of the parts was bent to crap and put on backwards. My sister came and partially assembled the other half in about half the time with my tools. Wayfair offers full assembly for like $78 which I should have purchased. Pretty much a nightmare. So really great movers, but super overpriced furniture assembly. Not so happy. read more

I'd give negative stars if I could. These guys do NOT know what they're doing at all. They packed our belongings for a cross-country move and caused many items to break. The people who unpacked our things at the new house noted what a poor packing job they had done. They packed things with no protection or padding and threw many things in a box without paper wrapping. Out piano was a disaster when we got to our location; they have no idea how to pack one. Many of my China pieces were broken as well as an antique mirror. There were many items we told them not to pack and they did anyway (like chemicals and cooking oil- liquids and hazardous items). They packed anything in their sight, such as a cell phone, hydro flask, prescription glasses sitting on a counter. Run! Don't walk away from these people. read more
