When the company merger or exchange happened, I was told that my unused Malibu Tan credits would be honored at the new establishment, which is now Palm Beach Tan. Well due to life, I quit frequenting the tanning beds for a proximately six months. Fast forward to two months ago, I find myself in Palm Beach Tan being told that my credits were no longer valid. Mind you, this is about $200 worth of bought credits that they told me would be honored. I was never told there was going to be a time limit or any kind of stipulations attached to that. Had I known that I would've made other arrangements, to either use my credits or try and have them transferred to another member. I told them that was crazy and how could they get away with that? No response. I then said "it sure would've been nice if you would've let people know this was to occur" and I was told they did let people know some months back. However, I received no text or call or email letting me know that this was going to occur. So unless you were actively tanning , on a regular basis, I don't think that you were fairly warned that they would be dishonoring the credits of the previous establishment. To them this is an OK standard of business and I think in today's world, in this day and age, you're gonna have to do better than that. On top of that......the location I use (yes I had to tan somewhere and it's closest to my house but I vowed only for two moths for a base tan and I pay the absolute least amount of $ putting me on the lower level of patrons, which you can't help but notice you're on the lower class of the Tanners. Those who spend 100+ dollars a month to 10 unlimitedly and all beds are treated differently, another horrible idea in the tanning industry.) is consistently dirty and the staff isn't that happy, helpful or eager to assist the next customer. Unless you absolutely have to use this establishment, I would highly suggest using another facility. This is coming from someone that's been tanning for 20+.

I have been to both tanning salons in Alvin now, and I like this one the best. It's very "mom and…read morepop". I like that the owner is there most the time and greets you by name even! Great monthly packages on the level 2 beds, my last month was just $30 for the month, this month is $35 on the mothers day special. Drawbacks would be that they only have a few beds available and only one level 1 bed. But so far I haven't had to wait for a bed to open up it's wonderful not to wait! Clean beds, friendly staff, great lotions for decent prices, love the "vacation" feel of the rooms too. Every room has it's own theme. You can go tan in JAMAICA, CANCUN, BARBADOS...etc. Every room has it's own radio and built in fans for the beds. I HIGHLY recommend this small mom and pop place!

We bought a ONE MONTH membership but have now been charged for two months past that. The manager doesn't respond back after the first attempt to get the refund. Things are electronic now, it is easy to credit back...they just hope you'll forget about it and then they can continue charging you. Plus, the place is run by a bunch of kids who are usually on their phones or napping on the couch. This place owes me $347 so far for something I'm not even using. and I'm sure I'll have to dispute with my bank in order to get the $$ back. Malibu Tan is so much better and right across the street. When I tried to book again several months later, the girl said she didn't know about it and would get back with me. I never heard back so then we were at a year so I called again. I was told they would need to find my file but they had moved so they would look. I called 2-3 times again over that next year but was put off and no one would book me. I never received a call from Dena either to verify the info. I wish I had saved the email from then. Unfortunately I think it was to draw business but since it grew she conveniently forgot about all the promises made.

She offered some samples of the products they sell to apply which did nothing but irritate it more. Now I have to visit a dermatologist and plastic surgeons office to try and fix what she did. I don't give a hOOt about having to pay a small fee to add a bronzer to my spray tan to have it show up "instantly" if I want it to. It irks me to read reviews on here posted by people wanting something for nothing, then complaining their something for nothing didn't come with them being served with a platinum spoon.
