Skinfit review The…read moremost incredible little gem in Kemah. I visited SkinFit on a Saturday to host a Bachelorette Party / Bridal shower. I really wasn't totally sure what I was in for because the bride booked it and I just offered to help coordinate/decorate. The pictures online truly do not do this little charming facility justice. Initially when you walk in you're greeted by a beautiful courtyard. The plants and water features set the tranquil tone that SkinFit is going for. We were able to set up the party space in their sun room but they also offered the courtyard, patio, and inside to us. They pulled out all the stops and even had the event catered for us. For breakfast we had muffins & fruit & later for lunch we had charcuterie cups, mimosas, wine, water, chicken salad croissant sandwiches, chips, fruit, and adorable banana puddings in face mask cups. The pink and maroon color scheme of the building was so cute for a girls themed gathering. It went so well with the disco cowgirl decor we brought in and set up around SkinFits food scape. The inside of the building really shows character and features of the 1930's home with the original floors and cute wallpaper and pink mounding throughout. They brought in a coordinator who really added some ease and extra fun to the party by making sure the refreshments never went empty and the music always hit the vibe of the party. Each girl received a facial and a massage (but it wasn't required for you to attend the party here). When we arrived they asked us to change into robes and let us get comfy. I've never had a facial before but the experience was great! The environment was super relaxing and they made sure I was emotionally and physically comfortable. I asked the esthetician lots of questions about skincare, lymphatic draining, and what her other services do. She was knowledgeable in suggestions to tweak my skincare routine to better get what I'm needing from it and it was obvious she's poured her heart into her business. She was really sweet and patient with all of my questions. Later I had a massage and out of the 10 or so I've had in my life I can say it was the best! She immediately asked my pressure request and made sure to follow through the entire massage with it. She also was kind and patient through the entire process and made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. I would absolutely choose to visit here for a massage again over a chain where you don't get the charm or dedication. It was evident to me that this little business cares about its customers. They pulled out all the stops and did everything they could to cater to our party. They communicated with us what we could expect before hand but genuinely I didn't expect it to be so amazing. We all felt very pampered and relaxed by the end of the party. I'm already looking for excuses to host another girls day here!! Once I stepped inside I was shocked at how quiet it was given its location. I was there to receive a massage, and it was an easy process. I filled out a form, had a little convo about previous injuries, what type of pressure I liked, etc. Once back in the room there was nice ocean waves playing. The massage itself was very relaxing! The therapist used the perfect amount of pressure, was good with draping and I was comfortable the entire time. A great dose of self-care!

If you were one of the first to buy a package you were locked into that price from there on so I did. There were only so many available. I had them done and was pleased with the results. When I tried to book again several months later, the girl said she didn't know about it and would get back with me. I never heard back so then we were at a year so I called again. I was told they would need to find my file but they had moved so they would look. I called 2-3 times again over that next year but was put off and no one would book me. I never received a call from Dena either to verify the info. I wish I had saved the email from then. Unfortunately I think it was to draw business but since it grew she conveniently forgot about all the promises made.

She offered some samples of the products they sell to apply which did nothing but irritate it more. Now I have to visit a dermatologist and plastic surgeons office to try and fix what she did. I hope she doesn't scar any more faces

We discussed realistic expectations, and were in agreement. Though my weight is far from being ideal, it is my stable weight and has been for quite some time. I was ready to be smoothed out and have the excess skin & some fat removed and my breasts reconfigured. I am pleased with the bodywork, and my breasts will probably need a revision in six months: this was expected, considering what we started with. I have always been able to contact Destiny and Chela (including having their cell phone numbers), and Dr. LoMonaco answers his own emails. I feel my care has been very good. When I had my tummy tuck I lost a lot of blood and development a hematoma. When I went for my follow up visit after being at the hospital for two days he drained the excess of fluid and it goes worse and developed a high risk infection. After multiply visits to Dr. LaMonaco's office my wound wouldn't heal, he found GAUZE inside my incision! It's a shame that's such a high end hospital such Methodist Clear Lake would work with a such a doctor. He is not caring or professional and only cares about the money. Now I need to find another surgeon to correct my butchered procedure. I have a video where he admit everything , he paid people to take off all the bad reviews !! When I walked in I told them that they had something on hold for me and they weren't sure if it was correct and instead of maybe helping me speed up the process just told me they were closing. I already felt bad about that but I'm not from around here and the other store didn't have my color so they called this store and they did so I made the trip! Still spent over $200 in 5 minutes. Definitely won't be back to this one. I think the thing that frustrated me most is I used to work retail and boy have things changed! I will say the cashier was sweet and this is mainly a compliment about the manager!
