I have had to deal with getting scooter repairs from Boca Scooters and I have to say it is the most unfriendly, disorganized repair shop I've ever seen. In particular, the young lady who answers the phone is un-professional, un-pleasant and the reason I will NEVER go back to that shop. I have met the owner who is a great guy, but he should choose his staff more discriminately. Great shop to buy a scooter, but good luck getting it repaired or serviced. Un-impressed!!!! read more

Looking to replace a worn out 2005 Kymco People 2T for my teenage Son. Made a few inquiries by phone. Spotted a 2010 Kymco People 150 on their pre-owned site for $850.00, but that was not fanciable. My Son was pre-approved for $1500.00 with their online financing. My wife and I took my him down there with all intentions to buy. The experience was the worst I've ever encountered! Waited about 15 minutes to be waited on, once approached I introduced myself and crew and shook hands with a man that didn't seem very interested or even care to smile. When I clearly saw his lack of personality I quickly got to the point. What can we get for around the $1500.00? The only Scooter that would work was a new TaoTao, $800.00 + tax and tag. Not my first choice, but My Son needed that day and was driving it back to West Palm Beach and had to go to work that evening. $229.00 for 14 month the man abruptly informed me!!! Over 3 times the cost of merchandise!!! If he would have had a little more personality I would have asked how this is legal. I then asked how much he would take cash for the 2010 People 150 and he told me it was already marked down to $950.00. When I walked over to it I saw that it was rusted beyond safe scooting & was missing one of the front turning signals...seriously??? The owner actually rides a scooter himself, so he keeps up to date on product changes just for the sheer love of it. Prices are more than fair. I will be buying my next ride there. read more

Love this place. I came here yesterday to purchase my first scooter ever and was super pleased. Rich helped me out and was beyond amazing! He answered all my questions and was super helpful with absolutely everything. They have a bunch of different scooters to choice from, used or new. They also do repairs and upgrades. Came in to get a scooter, was looking to put 500 to 800 down on a new scooter and finance the rest. After waiting around for an hour twiddling my thumbs, no one else was in there trying to buy a scooter the sales man rich left me at the front. Sat there after waiting an hour for another 20 minutes and decided to call boca scooters, the place I was currently at for almost an hr and a half to get this scooter. Rich came back, said to wait a minute. 10 minutes later tells me I'm approved to put $500 down on a $700 scooter with taxes and fees was 1250.. so 750 I was going to be financed for.. come to find out they wanted 140 a month for 12 months! After putting 500 down on this $700 scooter. That's another 1680 dollars they wanted from me! 2180 for a 700 dollar scooter! Lol terrible service, absolutely awful service and terrible financing. Removed my old review to write this one. I'm happy to say that this company went from night and day in my book as far as the services they've provided me. I previously rated them as a 1-star due to the customer service I previously received, but had a completely different experience this time. I had my 50cc scooter picked up on a Saturday and they went through the entire thing for me, wheel to wheel, to figure out why it wouldn't run. The mechanic servicing my machine, Joe, called and informed me that he had tried everything electrical that it could've been. He also informed me (reluctantly I may add) that it was most likely that my scooter needed a new stater plate (electrical problem) and that it was a pretty expensive repair, $225. He had already done a service on it ($85 charge by itself) and informed me that since that did not fix the problem that he would not charge me for it, and instead just charge me for the stater plate and labor. I was glad to hear this news, considering that alone was half of what I paid for the scooter originally ($450). I was upset to hear that it needed such an expensive part, but hey, I knew repairs were gonna add up eventually with a scooter that I paid so little for. With 4,500 miles now on it (2,200 when purchased) it actually wasn't too bad of a buy. So I wanna say, thank you Joe and the rest of the Boca Scooters team for servicing my scooter and doing such a great job! If anything else ever arises with it, I'll know where to go!!! read more

As others have said on here , I would stay away from Boca Scooters . I went there when I was having a problem with my 50cc leaking gear oil . The owner told me to bring it in on a saturday . When I got there I was pretty much ignored and was told to wait . I waited and waited without ever being acknowledged again . Needless to say I left and will never go back . I now do my business at another scooter shop where they treat me right but it is 25 miles away . It's a shame Boca Scooters is a bad operation because we could sure use a good shop in the area . read more

this company has the absolute worst service ever. they sent my scooter home without the proper tuning and on the way home it turned off on me eight times. i kept calling them, but they would not help at all. i took the scooter out again, it kept turning off, the timing was completely off; they could care less. also, did tax tag and title with them; they neglected to tell me that i had to come back to pick up my tag in three weeks. they are pathetic. read more

Bought a used scooter and started to have trouble with it the very next day. It had to go back for service multiple times over the next month or so but refused to run properly. Ultimately Colton took it back and set us up with a new bike of the same model at a great price. Not every sale is going to go perfectly, but what counts is when an establishment persists in trying to make the customer happy. If what we ended up with had happened on the first day I would not hesitate to give 5 stars. We are now thoroughly satisfied with our purchase. read more

When I purchased my first scooter from this establishment the service was great. Each time I went for service after the first couple of times I had to wait hours to get repairs done that should have taken minutes. WAY over priced for their hourly rate. Would not recommend boca scooters. read more

Was greeted by a employee that was obviouslly high. Ordered a part and it took over a month to get. They never called me when the part got there.. they charge 85 for parts that are just 30 dollars. When i go there its always busy and they leave you waiting for a long time. They dont communicate with there costumers. When i called about the part the lady had no idea what was going on. Being in the West Palm area it seems every time I need to get work done on my bike its like pulling teeth or having to leave it and the shops for a few days to get it done. I saw The Shops ad on Google My rear brakes were squeaking and I wanted them fixed, after calling and stopping in to a couple of other shops and they didn't have the time to fix it I called The shop they were up front from the start they told me they didn't have the parts but gave me a number were I could get them they gave me a very low price to put them on I really didn't believe it but thought I would try them anyway. I got the brakes went to them they put me right in the shop and did a most excellent job installing them. it didn't stop their the mechanic that put them on even cleaned the rear wheel its a job I don't even like They only charged me $50.00 thats what they quoted me on the phone and thats what they charged They were even honest enough that when they pulled the rear wheel they told me I really didn't need new brakes the drum just need to be cleaned I had them put on the brakes anyway and I have my old brakes if I ever need them. You know honesty is the best policy. I would definitely use them again and I would recommend them to anybody. Keep up the excellent job guys. read more

It is hell dealing with theese guys...When you come to purchase a moped they litterally serve yo like a slave but after that they give you the up most worst service....I work a 9-6 mon-fri and also 11am-11pm on sundays....the place opens at 10....or 10:30 depending on the previous day,3 days in a row i waited crack of dawn to get thees guys.First day for a tire replacement, he had told me no problem will be done in 1 hour........6 hours later he says im sorry buddy its been crazy than out of no where walks away from assiting me to try to make a sale on a moped....Day two, for some odd reson the next morning after my first visit there my transmission blows?So im back at crack of dawn and the place opens at 10:20 this time with a line already outside, i had already spent 105 dollars for my tire now it was another 217 for the tranny... they said you could be back in 1 hour , I PICKED MY MOPED UP AT 7:00PM 9 hours for freaking 1hour of work they said...i had returned three time and every time they told me i was next till my final visit when i had arrived at 6:10 super pissed, at that moment they had begun to wheel my moped back talk about poor service, lastly as i drove away the moped died on me because they put my bike back toghther poorly and forgot a vacumm hose so i turned around right away and in 2 mins they had closed down and refused to help me , plus to make it even worse they were closed the next day read more

This place has to be one of the WORST places for cutover service/repairs ever. This company had my scoter for well over a week. I got the run around every time i called! they actually LOST my scooter while it was there. After I was ripped off paying 45$ to pick up my scooter that is still very new and it died they told me they couldn't find my scooter. After a while the boss Colton (who was AWFUL AT CUSTOMER SERVICE) called me and said they found it. They were supposed to repair the scooter since it wasn't working and the speedometer wasn't either. The scooter stopped going like 35 40 to barely hitting 30. I told them to fix that too. The girl who answers the phone who is a NASTY WOMAN told me on a daily basis she would check into the status and call me back. She need did. I called over and over for a week. i called on day 15 times to get someone on the phone. They obviously screen their calls and i left about 5 messages or so to now why they hadn't called back. They never returned my call. the manager/owner Colton who is a poor excuse of a owner promised me a call back and also told me my scooter would be no charge for all the issues i encountered. He never called. I didn't have a way to pick the scooter up so i asked them to deliver it. They told me on 3 separate occasions when i did get someone on the phone they would deliver tha day. NEVER happened. They also said no charge for the delivery. Then they changed their minds and said it was 25 to deliver. I said whatever cuz i just wanted my scooter. Then they told me it was 45 they made a mistake after quoting me the 25. I was furious. After this they never answered my phone calls or anything. They were the rudest bunch of people i have ever worked with. Especially the nasty woman who answers the phone. I called over and over and waited for the owners call back and that never happened. They "fixed" the scooter and never let me know it was done. I finally got a ride to pick it up and now its broken again.They absolutely rigged my scooter and made it worse. Never fixed the speed, or anything else properly. When i bought it the FIRST day it died and i tried to return it and they made some excuse that it was just sitting to long. The scooter died again a few days later. They sold me a piece of crap and after they ripped me off! I will NEVER step foot in that junk yard again! They should be ashamed of themselves for the way they conduct business and the way they treat their customers. lll make sure everyone who i know, knows how awful this place is! read more
