According to reports and videos that circulated on social media, adults associated with the controversy were seen confronting a child during a dispute. As a customer, I find that behavior concerning and not something I want to support with my money. Businesses should set a positive example, especially when dealing with young people. Even when disagreements happen, adults are expected to remain calm and handle situations responsibly. Seeing adults become involved in a physical confrontation with a child raises serious concerns about judgment and professionalism. Another reason I would avoid buying from Boca Scooters is that trust matters when choosing a company. If a business becomes known for controversial incidents involving minors, many customers may question whether the company represents the values they want to support. A good reputation takes years to build but can be damaged quickly when incidents like this occur. There are many e-bike and scooter companies that offer similar products. Because customers have plenty of choices, I would rather support a company that is known for positive interactions with its community and customers rather than one connected to a widely criticized incident. First of all, I would give this guy 0 stars but I am not physically able to. The old guy who runs the shop and the social media accounts, is a terrible guy. It is on video of him hitting this kid and trying to run him over numerous times, throttling up and slamming on the brakes just as the kid runs out of the way, laughing during the entire ordeal. The kid just wanted a picture with the bike and the owner, because it is a rare bike, a surron storm bee, and you don't see them very often. He claims during this video that the kid walked up to his bike. Now let's apply that logic to other vehicles. If someone walked in the direction of your parked vehicle and takes a picture of it, is getting in your vehicle and tries to run them over after hitting them in the head the right thing to do? Absolutely not. If you are bothered, you can ask them to stop taking pictures or walk away from your vehicle. If at no point you are threatened, you have no reasonable justification for running them over and assaulting them. This place deserves to be shut down or transferred to a new owner, his social media accounts should be taken down, and he should be arrested. But he won't, because thats just how the justice system in America happens to be. To anyone looking into buying a vehicle from this shop, I strongly suggest you go to one of the many other shops that sell the same bikes, and to not support an oldhead who thinks it's okay to assault and run over a minor. read more

Fantastic shop! As soon as I walked in I felt like I was getting personalized service that I haven't experienced in a very long time. It would prove to be spectacular from beginning to scooting off. Rich greeted my girlfriend and I with warmth and a great sense of humor that literally made me laugh out loud multiple times. We knew relatively little about scooters but Rich patiently listened to as we explained our needs. After being silent, attentive, and interested for sometime he directed us to scooter that I now realize is the exact one I want. When I looked up the price I was amazed at the fantastic deal I received! Rich explained everything on the bike in a way we could understand while physically demonstrating it. This was despite the fact that he had greeted several customers that were lined up who had arrived. I truly felt like he wanted me to be taken care of and satisfied even though the purchase was completed. This was the first time I have ever leased anything but he guided us very hopefully through the financing stage. Right before we took off with the bike and hand he showed us every little feature of it then took very attractive pictures of us on it. I was sent off with a genuine smile, wave, and a "be safe!"I was very impressed with the thoroughness of his entire service I recommend if anyone interested in scooters or scooter accessories in the area go here immediately! I had purchased a scooter from a place in Pompano beach off of Dixie Highway and ever since I purchased the scooter it had issues, and they could not fix the issue, it was always the same thing and I was told it was the gas I was using. I took my scooter to Boca Scooters and they not only fixed the issue, they didn't charge an arm and a leg and I have become a new long time customer. Every issue I have ever had with my ride, they have fixed, no questions, they do a good job, and they, in my opinion, are the best scooter shop in the state. They know how to fix scooters where other places don't, they get to the issue and fix it. Great place, Colton is a great guy and the staff have always been courteous and professional, I have no complaints about them , they are fantastic and I highly recommend them for any scooter or bike issue. I have been taking my scooter to 'The Shop' for over a year-and-a-half and am most pleased with the results. They have even picked up my scooter when it was not in driving condition. Their service is excellent and fast. They order parts and accessories, even install upgrades, such as a trunk I have gotten. Colton, the owner, is professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgable. I must add that Sal, the head mechanic, happens to be a mechanical magician. One of my friends has purchased a scooter at 'The Shop' and is most pleased with the results. Also, I must add that 'The Shop' is an honest business place - something which does not seem to be as common nowadays - but perhaps other businesses will follow their lead! This place is genuinely the best! I've had some troubles with my bikes time to time, and everytime I come, they never disappoint. The staff are amazing at their jobs, they listen to your explanations and try to give you a reason on why you have a situation, and after, its like there was never anything wrong! Also, the staff actually have a sense of humor instead of seeming miserable. The vibe of Boca Scooters is also a thing to comment about, it has what it needs, but in a fun way, it shows prices and what you would get, all straight to the point. I would highly recommend coming to this location. I will be honest, I had a little trouble at first coming here, but after working with Richard he turned a small annoyance into me becoming a loyal customer. He was very upfront about how much everything will cost and let me know when the scooter would be finished. Also, I did not feel pressured into getting work done. (ex. I had a nail in my tired and Richard gave me a few option that included doing stuff on my own, but I decided to have the tire done by them.) I am a first time scooter rider and the staff there was able to guide me in the right direction. If there is an issue, the staff will do what they can to make it happen within reason. read more

I had a great experience with Boca Scooters. After owning a Genuine Stella for a while I got tired of the manual transmission and decided to sell it. I purchased a pair of 150cc Chinese import scooters from Boca Scooters so my wife and I could ride together. They took care if all the paperwork and delivers them to my house the next day. I had a few problems with one of them a couple of months later and the owner fixed it free of charge. Great company with a very understanding owner. I highly recommend them. read more

Colton spent literally an hour on the phone with my son who was actually buying the scooter, & was in Boston at the time. They took care of the registration, plates, and also permanent plates. I was about to go in store to look for a bike and I saw a TikTok video of him (the owner) almost running a kid over on a bike on purpose after stealing the key to his bike. Not to mention, after I went in there and went to buy a bike, he was the rudest person ever! The employees ate trash and their prices are expensive as hell.
