Absolutely love this place ! I have been coming here for well over a year - year and a half. Monica and Britt are great ! I have been going to Britt for well over a year and she is awesome ! I have learned a lot about skincare, the products and what works best with my skin. Britt is very detailed in explaining what's going on while you're under her care and asks questions to help you understand what type of skin you have and what products you should be using. She is outgoing and super friendly. Boca Med Spa is reasonably priced and their product line that they carry is really great ! I am a return user of their products and highly recommend them. The Spa is very comfortable and has an airy/light feeling to it. If you're looking for that all day spa style, this isn't the place. But I can assure you it's one of the best I have been to, Fancy or not ! I am able to get a facial, microderm, and/or a light chemical peel during my lunch hour and head back to work. I'm thankful I have found this place and they have really educated me on my skin and grooming tips to make it easier when I can't get there for my regular "cleansing" of a facial. I'm new to South Florida, and was looking for a good med spa. I found this place on the net and has pretty good reviews (regardless of a couple of bad reviews), decided to give it a try 2 days ago. I called them and I was able to get an appointment in 2 days with this amazing girl. I felt comfortable talking about myself to her right away, and she was very knowledgeable. I was always looking for someone who can tell me what's good for my skin type and what I can do to improve my skin, and I found her. I came in for microdermabrasion which I get regularly when I'm in Santa Monica but she gave me a custom facial including microdermabrasion. I have oily skin so she gave me blackhead extraction which always hurts a little and also mini peel along with other stuff. When she put some stuff I don't recall the name on face, burns badly but my moto is "no pain no gain". On the next day my face was sort of red like a sun-burn, but today my face started to peel and still continue to peel, but now I feel like I have brand new skin! I will definitely go back to her and didn't purchase any product this time because I still have many products I purchased from "old" dermatologist (I didn't like them) in Boca, but I will definitely purchase their products once I use up the previous stuff I have now.... I found this place on Groupon over the summer and wanted to get a chemical peel for my wedding. I went to Monica, and she honestly told me that one singular low/moderate peel wouldn't see the results I wanted and offered to upgrade it for free. I was so pleased with the service I decided to do a series of 4 leading up to my wedding. It was the best decision of my wedding planning process (aside from choosing to marry my husband of course)! My skin has never been better even a month after my last peel. Almost no breakouts, and I feel perfectly find leaving the house without makeup now, which I haven't done in years! Over the course of the series, I looked forward to going into the med spa every few Saturdays, and it was a nice relaxing retreat from the chaotic planning. Far from the trendy spas that are everywhere in Boca Raton, It's nestled in a professional building without all the fanfare and drama that you encounter in other typical spas and I love that it's private. I also applaud Monica and her highly skilled staff. They are extremely helpful in choosing which of the many services they offer to achieve your specific goals. I am giving 2 stars instead of one solely out of respect for the esthetician who was kind and courteous compared to front desk woman. While I thought she did an okay job w/my facial even though she did minimal extractions when specifically stated I wanted to concentrate on extractions, the most alarming were her recommendations which were the opposite of what my professional derm has always recommended. She suggested I use retin A as eye cream when my derm has always always warned me to keep it away from my eye area bc skin there is too sensitive. She also tried to sell me on a myriad of products which a) were a brand ive never even heard of and Im pretty well versed in beauty products and b) I made clear I had my own derm recommended regimen already. Anyways the horrific part came with dealing with the front desk woman which I was told by the esthetician was the owner. She was the epitome of shady + unprofessional-ism. Beware: prices aren't on paper anywhere- I asked for a service menu w/pricing when I arrived after being told on the phone it wasnt available online, and there was no such thing. So I had to spend 12 mins trying to remember services I've gotten done in the past so I could receive a verbal price quote from her. Mind you, she changed the pricing she quoted me for microdermabrasion twice. Then again I dont expect her to remember what she says when she's clearly pulling prices out of thin air. The kicker was that all along she seemed to be getting more annoyed with me and made her annoyance very clear by being short w/me and borderline rude as I asked her to repeat prices. I will never go back there or recommend to anyone. People who do business like this shouldn't be in business at all. read more

After getting micro/ facial treatments else where and nothing working I came to Boca Med Spa. A friend had recommended them to me. I can honestly say I've never seen my skin so beautiful. Very nice spa, glad i found them. The owner was there to greet me upon my facial. I had a mini peel and facial and my skin feels so new and fresh. They use top of the line products like image and Environ to do treatments which is amazing. I bought some product on the way out as well, they had a great selection for my skin type. I recently came into Boca Med Spa because I had been suffering from terrible acne, as well as acne scarring for years, nothing I ever did helped before. When I came in I wasn't sure exactly what my skin needed but, Sophia, one of the medical estheticians there, who is the definition of an absolute angel, helped guide me through what would be best for me. She treated me with a high frequency oxygen facial and not only did it feel so awesome but seriously on a small scale changed my life. Booking an appointment has been a nightmare. I sent an online inquiry to book a treatment. After 2 days, I still hadn't heard from the med spa, so I called to schedule a consultation and treatment. I have been getting peels, microdermabrasion, and other treatments every 4-6 weeks for years. I just moved from out of state and was looking for a new place so I wanted to make sure enough time was allotted because I knew I was going to get something done, but wasn't sure exactly what treatments they offered. The girl I spoke with said she may be able to fit me in on Saturday (this was mid week) but wanted to check with the service provider and would call me "right back." She also asked "if I had been calling like 3 times this week because a girl with my name keeps calling." I said no, this is my first time. She never called back to confirm a day or time. On Friday afternoon , I received a voicemail about my appointment on Saturday (didn't know I had one) and seeing if it could be changed. I called back, no answer so I left a message. Around 11am Saturday, the spa calls asking if I could move my appointment up to 1. I explained what happened, they said "sorry, can you come in Tuesday." I declined an appointment. I was referred by my friend Nancy for acne scarring. The place is clean with nice ambiance. Staff is friendly and professional. Monica took good care of me. She performed an assessment on my scarring and recommended 5 derma pen treatment. The procedure resulted in redness for few days. I had fraxel laser treatment done a year ago but I had breakout from it and thought it was pointless. But with the derma pen my pores are significantly smaller and my acne scars are not as deep.
