All the dental hygienist that my kids have had have all been wonderful but the one who took care of me was aggressive and rough and hurt. Also she came off as uncaring and rude. I'm a big baby so in no way did she try to comfort me until they were tears coming out of my eyes that I had to ask for numbing for the deep cleaning she was rushing through. From the very first visit, I felt understood, respected, and completely cared for. When I broke my crown, even though I had no pain, Carrie was able to schedule me the next morning. Dr Winderbaum was very conscientious as well as gentle. He had a very light touch. He removed my broken crown and prepared the tooth for a new crown. Rather than taking a goopy runny impression, he used the lasted technology to create a digital scan of my tooth which was immediately sent to the lab for fabrication. A temporary crown was made and fit very comfortably. While not many people, if any, enjoy having their teeth worked on, this was a pleasant experience. Your insurance info is saved in the app, so you pick a time, book and you're done. I've seamlessly used Zocdoc quite a few times and really like the app alot. Today was the first issue. On the day of the appointment here, I showed up promptly, showed the receptionist my appointment in the app, but was told, no, there is no appointment. Apparently when you book with this provider on Zocdoc they don't actually make or honor the Zocdoc appointment. They just have you come in and try to shoehorn you into a different day and time. THAT'S NOT HOW ZOCDOC WORKS! The Zocdoc appointment is SUPPOSED TO BE the appointment. That's the whole point of Zocdoc. To make it easy for people to schedule. It's not supposed to be a lead generator where you don't honor appointments and then figure it all out later. That's ridiculous. I took time out of my busy schedule for nothing. Outrageous. Really disappointed with them for wasting my time and for not following Zocdoc procedures.

It all started with my husband, who referred me to them after he had raving reviews about his experience. I hadn't been to the dentist in over a year, and that was on purpose. When I called to make an appointment, Mary's kindness instantly let me know I was going to have a good experience. I was right. I was greeted with a smile, an explanation of paperwork, and took a seat in their cute lobby. The woman who did my cleaning, Andrea, educated me on everything I needed to know regarding my services and what she was noticing in my teeth. She got me in immediately to see Dr Winderbaum. When I arrived, I found the office to be clean and nicely decorated. Dr Winderbaum was very nice. After seeing my problem, we decided to replace my broken onlay. He gave me a great shot, which I barely felt and he had a very gentle touch. He seemed to be very conscientious as well. His assistant performed a digital scan of my tooth and had a very light touch. A temporary restoration was placed while I wait for the lab to return my permanent restoration.
