Bob's Professional Painting just did a stunning and sensational home paint makeover for us from ceilings to walls to baseboards - to adding crown moulding, to exterior paint to replacing outside shutters AND repairing/replacing our patio trellis, such that our 1996 home looks completely brand new and up to date inside and out! Jason oversaw the project and he and his nonstop hard working crew could not have been more thorough and meticulous day in and day out. Jason checked in each morning and throughout the day, always keeping us in the loop. His keen eye for colors and values left us feeling confident in his suggestions given we were painting bedrooms different colors from the main house. I wanted our front door color to "pop" and Jason suggested the color, "Seattle Red" which looks totally epic walking up to our porch. Thank you Jason for recommending the perfect eye popping complement to our exterior colors! You would be hard pressed to find a more seasoned, thorough, and communicative professional painting group to work with anywhere in the Bay Area. The coordination between Bob and Jason and Jason's team members who were prepping and painting inside, and repairing outside damaged wood and sun damaged shutters, while adding interior crown moulding to four rooms and wainscoting in one bath was flawless and seamless. The trellis repair and paint job in itself was a major project, and Bob's quote to repair and paint just the trellis came in $6000.00 lower than one of the earlier bids we had gotten just for that project!‼ Thanks to Jason and his crew, prior to painting, our furniture and belongings were lovingly wrapped up and protected for all the interior paint work, and meticulously put back together right down to me coming out to Andrew sweeping my kitchen floor one day after touching up the kitchen cabinets lol! This entire project inside and out was completed in 9 days. The crew started at 8am each day. It was always easy to communicate with Bob at any given moment via text or phone call. We didn't experience any delays or problems at all. I was able to work in my home office during the bulk of the project which was amazing in itself. So when it was time this summer to paint the exterior we knew exactly who to call. Bob and his crew are very professional, do excellent quality work, and are a pleasure to work with. In fact, I generally don't write reviews for any business - good or bad - but felt like Bob's Pro Painting went above and beyond and deserved the best rating & review. (They even replaced a missing screen door track with a new one & reinstalled our back patio screen door after the whole job was done!) For our house, they had to do a lot of woodwork reconstruction of dry rotted trim & siding, so it was nice to have them take care of that too. All in all, we were very impressed with their work and completely satisfied. No need to shop around for estimates & do interviews. They are prompt, and work fast/efficient. Bob's crew painted the entire interior of our house. I had gotten bids from six other paint companies, but Bob really stood out from the rest. When he came to my house to give me the estimate, he spent a half hour (whereas most of the other painters spent at most ten minutes) going through each room and jotting down notes. He made good suggestions about the type of paint to use in different rooms, and also volunteered to do some extras like touching up my painted kitchen cabinets. It was obvious that Bob had an eye for detail and wanted the job to be done well. He sent me his estimate the same day we met. I was struggling with what paint colors to use, and Bob picked up many paint samples to put on the walls to make sure I was happy with my choice. His crew was on time each day and cleaned up nicely at the end of the day. They were friendly and respectful of our space. They also made it possible for us to keep living in the house while it was being painted. Bob said it would take six days to do the entire house, and it took six days to do the entire house. Bob and his team painted my master bedroom in spring of 2019. I was getting ready to have a baby (which is why this review is so late!) and wanted to get that last little project of changing my hideous paint color done before. Bob was able to fit us in between his other projects and still gave us a great experience. He brought and painted a few swatches for us and his team was in and out within a day once we had picked our final color. He also didn't charge us for the white primer paint since they have so much of it already. I was in need of a painter and needed one quick! I started here on Yelp, but everyone I called was booked out 3-4 weeks. This was NOT going to work. I then started searching Craigslist and decided to interview a few companies. Bob's Professional Painting was one of them. Bob showed up on time, was very professional, and his bid was in my price range. What won me over was the "extra mile" that he offered to go for me with my home. There was some minor damage to a bathroom door that he offered to fix at no additional charge. I really hadn't thought about getting it fixed (to be honest, I thought I would have to replace the door), but his generosity and attention to detail got him the job! This is what you want to see from ALL businesses. Most companies would've used that as an "up sale" to charge more. Bob saw the damage and decided to just take care of it because he was kind and had the tools to do it. THAT'S customer service at its finest folks! So I hired Bob. He painted my 1400 sqft townhome in 3 days. That's walls, doors, trim, you name it and it was painted. He fixed the bathroom door and it LOOKED LIKE NEW. I could not believe it. We were looking to have the exterior of our house painted over Labor Day weekend, and were lined up to use a painter that was also working on our neighbors house. That painter quoted a very high price and then reneged the offer after shaking on it. We sent them packing and decided to look elsewhere. My partner immediately went on Craigslist and found Bob's ad. He provided an estimate OTP and then came to see our house the very next day. Bob provided us a quote for the house, trim, front door, walkways (fix cracks and paint) and several other fixes. He gave a great estimate that was much lower than the other painter. The best thing is they started that same day power washing the house that we confirmed the estimate! The crew worked quickly and had our house painted in 3 days. The crew were very polite and did a tremendous job fixing things, painting, cleaning up, and being courteous to our neighbors and us. Bob came by to inspect as well, and provided us with receipts for all supplies, which his crew picked up and provided. Our house looks AMAZING!! It is the best looking house on the block.
