It's a family piano (small baby grand), but hadn't been touched in over 50 years. It's now closing in on 100 years old, and wasn't really top of the line when it was built. But - it's a family heirloom of sorts and I really didn't want to get rid of it. Frederick was knowledgeable and diligent, but also recognized that the actual value of the piano meant he should take a measured approach and not try to complete rebuild the whole thing. The end result has been wonderful. The piano just sings. It's a very whole sound - loads better than what it sounded like when we brought it into the house. Couldn't recommend a better person for this kind of job.
