She billed my insurance for the lab results and I didn't have to pay for them out of pocket. Dr. Parker got so much more information from the same lab results that my western doctor called normal and devised a treatment plan that addressed and dramatically improved several chronic issues that have been bugging me for years. For me, her approach that blends lab work and eastern medicine was a game-changer and I'll continue to see Dr. Parker regularly for acupuncture.

If you look at my other reviews from this same day, I tried to receive treatment at three other urgent care facilities all under the Lincoln urgent Care brand... And they wouldn't even accept 100% cash payment to treat a spider bite! So it's a tricky world because the only reason I went to the Lincoln urgent Care was because it had 4.9 Stars and I avoided Westerns Sierra because they had one star. But I got the best service ever... What a confusing maze. Thanks for the treatment

This was hands down the worst medical experience I've ever had, and I thought my previous…read moreexperience with them was horrid.... At my daughter's 2-year checkup, this doctor, Mr. Peter Harris, barely even did an actual exam. Yet he felt completely comfortable telling me my child was "severely autistic" and would never live a normal life, go to a regular school, or be around other kids. Who says that to a parent--especially without a proper evaluation by a true ASD professional? It was cruel, reckless, and completely inappropriate. I left that appointment terrified and heartbroken. No parent should ever be spoken to like that based on what felt like a rushed, lazy assessment. Thankfully, I trusted my gut and did NOT follow his referral. I paid extensively out of pocket for an independent evaluation, by a world renowned doctor, and guess what? My daughter is NOT autistic. She simply has a speech delay and some oral motor issues; things that are manageable and common. So not only was Mr. Peter Harris wrong, he was wildly wrong. To make it even worse, they had the nerve to call me months afterwards to make sure I went through with their referral--like they were trying to double down on their misdiagnosis, or receive a nice kickback from UC Davis. This bargain bin of medical clinics throws around serious labels like it's nothing, with zero regard for the emotional damage it causes families, especially mothers. It's fear-mongering, plain and simple. If you care about your child, get a second opinion, trust your gut, and think twice before trusting this clinic and doctor. No one should have to go through the anxiety and distress that I endured.

A month later, I still couldn't walk or put pressure on my ankle. I was still in a ton of pain. I was icing and elevating and taking it easy, but hadn't returned to any sense of normalcy. I got an MRI and a referral to PT and chose Radius based on a bunch of word-of-mouth referrals around town. I ended up being paired with Dr. Austin Van Poole. I let him know that I'm a mom of two young kids and a musician who has a super intense performance style of dancing around a ton, typically in wild outfits and tall shoes. The first time we met, Austin used his thumb to dig out a ton of scar tissue in my ankle. I call it "excavating" and it was a bizarre blend of both excruciating and super relieving. Austin jokingly said "this is the part where people want to punch me". The craziest part was the following day I could actually walk with flex-motion in my ankle in a way I hadn't even come close to before. Every time we met, Dr. Austin would continue to do this excavating of scar tissue and it was so helpful and relieving for my injury and helped my healing exponentially. He helped loosen up the tightness in my calf, hamstring, and hip that (maybe was there to start pre-injury?) but definitely got way worse with overcompensation from the injury. Happy to report I'm back to dancing around on stage, working out at the gym, chasing after my children and feeling good. I 100% attribute all my health and healing to Radius. Really grateful for their support, their senses of humor, clear communication and patient-centered care.
