I've been meaning to write this review for quite some time, as my quality of life has drastically changed since I began seeing Dr. Jack 14 months ago. I could easily write a novella singing his praises, but I'll refrain and just tell you about my experience... I had suffered from excruciating pain for years, mainly between my shoulders, in my upper back. After seeing various chiropractors regularly for years, I had never really gotten any answers about the culprit. More so just "come see me again next week" and minor relief that would last a week or two at best. Upon my first visit with the doc, he requested that I get an x-ray so he could see what was really going on. The word "x-ray" sent me into a panic, as I anticipated getting a few thousand dollars in the hole. But instead, I was charged $60 by an imaging center he works with regularly. WIN! After looking over the x-rays, the doctor was able to explain the cause of my constant pain. His thoroughness, compassion and knowledge was something I had been lacking from previous chiropractors. I truly felt a huge difference after our first visit. His gentle adjustments (no more twisting and cracking) worked wonders. Long story short, my chest pain, discomfort and shortness of breath was relieved to an extent I had never experienced. Fast forward to this year and I still see him regularly and my life has improved drastically. I am able to play with my children, sit for longer periods and am all around a much happier person with the demise of my pain. I also now have him adjust my children, which has improved their mobility and immune systems drastically. Like I said, I could go on for days, but I won't. But truly, Dr. Jack has been a godsend. If I hadn't started seeing him, my problem would most definitely be worsened by now with the prior route I was taking. Dr Jack has been my (and my children's) Chiropractor for many years now. I first started getting adjusted when I was pregnant with my daughter. The adjustments helped to relieve some pretty serious back pain I was experiencing during pregnancy, and helped get rid of the occasional headache. I have also had my children adjusted since they were young and they've grown up very healthy because of it. He uses methods that are very gentle. I've had a lot of bad luck with chiropractors. I've been injured, charged outrageous fees, and given grim prognosese. Dr. Jack is the chiropractor I was always looking for. Here's 5 reasons why he is the best chiropractor I have ever been to. FREE CONSULTATION. Dr. Jack talked with me for 30 minutes about my long, sorted chiropractic history. I have been charged over $100 by two local chiropractors for the same service. UTILIZES X-RAYS and MRI's. He did not want to progress in my treatment until he had all the information. Dr. Jack can recommend low cost x-rays. $85 for digital x-rays as opposed to nearly $200 at Dr. Jacobson's office. UTILIZES PEER REVIEWED SCIENCE to inform his methods. Dr. Jack explains why he used each method in the context of the education that I received during my consultation. He recommends physical therapy exercises, heating and icing, and other home remedies. The effectiveness of which can easily be researched by you and corroborated by doctors outside of the chiropractic field. HE'S THERE TO HELP, not simply make money. Here is why I say this; Dr. Jack knew I was in a financial pinch so he called me during his free time to check up on my progress without requiring an office visit that would have cost money. I've asked myself before, "Why does chiropractic cost so much if you're in it to help people?" Dr. Jack just really wants to help folks and it's obvious. IT'S WORKED (so far). I saw Dr. Jack over two weeks ago for my adjustment without the symptoms returning to the point they were when I first saw him. His adjustment was gentle. He used an artrho-stim (I think that's what it's called) for most of my adjustment. It felt really good, I regained range of motion, and pain was reduced immediately. He even explained how the gun worked! I have re-aggravated my neck since I saw Dr. Jack, but I was able to bring it back up to speed using recommended techniques. I now believe that there is hope of significantly reducing my pain to the point where I won't have to coddle myself on a daily basis. If you go see Dr. Jack, you might not have to see another chiropractor again. If you do have to go back to the chiropractor, I would bet that you would go back to see him. Had a slight dislocation in my shoulder and checked out the reviews while looking for a local practitioner. Dr Jack's reviews were great and he is just 1/2 mile from my home. He called me back within an hour of my leaving a message. He had had a cancellation later that day and I filled it. He was personable, knowledgeable and thorough in his pre-treatment exam. He painlessly treated my issue, gave me some at home self-treatment instructions and a follow up appointment for 3 days later. My shoulder was 80% better by the time I returned. Dr. Jack has been a blessing to our family, in so many ways. He's an intelligent and intuitive practitioner who combines personal experience, with medical training, with a holistic approach. Not only will he know how to fix what's ailing you, but he knows enough to know how to offer preventative care for the things creeping up around the bend. He combines in-office care with very specific, specialized instructions for home care & diet & movement - and if that weren't enough, he also has our 7 year old shepherd mix, 4 knee surgeries later, walking better than he has since he was 3 (we just took him on a 3 mile hike the other day and he was fabulous as ever!). Highly recommend Dr. Jack! I went to my family physician two times in an attempt to get help for chronic headaches. Dr. Jack is truly awesome! I wish I had found him a year ago when I first started having sciatica.
