Recently I've been going through some things. Still, I was surprised to see a florist van pull up in front of my house and the delivery man head towards my front door. The moment I caught a glimpse of the arrangement, my eyes bugged out and my mouth dropped. A cat and a fish made of flowers?!!! I've had flowers arrive in martini glasses and rabbits at Easter time but never something like this. Making it even more special is that the arrangement came from my mother-in-law. I haven't always been her favorite person so for her to send me flowers, let alone flowers that look like a cat (she's a dog person), it is quite a step forward--no, a leap forward--in our relationship. Not knowing anything about flowers I almost booked them, but something told me to get a second estimate. On a friend's suggestion, I went and met with sue and got an estimate for the same exact flowers at less than half of the original estimate. Being a very easy going bride, I would've been thrilled with "ok" flowers at that price, but they were absolutely stunning. The flowers were so beautiful and everything was just perfect. She delivered our things to my house at one time and then took the ceremony flowers to the park a few hours later, perfectly on time. One thing I really appreciated was that sue suggested we bring extra vases to the reception to put the ceremony flowers in for decoration. I feel most businesses would try to sell you extra things instead of helping to be creative with what you have. I will go back to sue at Albert brothers for all of my future flower needs and you should too!!

The saddest part about the experience is how my dear friend was treated when voicing her concerns. She was gaslit and told she should have come to look at the flowers (when not given that option), and was told she signed off on the list of flowers so there was nothing that could have been done and she should have been more clear. I have seen this florist do amazing work, and this was not an example of her best performance. Be aware you might get a masterpiece or a disaster.
