Going back seven years, Ed has provided audio visual services for events I've organized, including…read moresmall conferences and AV set-ups for internationally known speakers who were giving talks in Portland. He's amazing, I highly recommend him to you. Use his services if you want your events to succeed. This man's customer service and equipment are stellar. I wouldn't use anyone else: * He helped me figure out what equipment was best; * Was cheery, informative and patient; * He helped set-up and stuck around to make sure everything worked correctly (Not just drop-and-run). I always feel in good hands with Ed. And have never had any problems, which can so easily happen in high-visibility public events, as I'm sure you know. In fact, Ed saved my tail, and the tail of a local non-profit, when a last-second computer fail arose (that had absolutely nothing to do with the equipment we'd rented from him). The laptop wasn't sending signals to Ed's large projector for a presentation being given by an internationally known speaker. Even though everything was working fine when Ed left. It was past the time when the speaker was to start, the audience was getting impatient, everyone else was nervous, and I was sweating buckets with no idea how to solve things. Luckily, Ed had given me an "emergency" contact number. He took a call even though it was in the middle of a restaurant dinner date, and walked me through the solution even though it had nothing at all to do with the equipment we'd rented. For a major national conference in Portland, we contacted Ed at Prestige to get an RFP for services…read moreto have a choice of AV vendors to choose from beside the hotel's contracted AV service. We gave Ed the details and he said he would provide a proposal in a day or two. We did not hear from him. As it turns out, after we asked why, he said he provides the equipment to the hotel's AV company and they are his "friends" -- he gets paid regardless. He claimed we did not provide him enough details about the set-up, but he did not bother to ask us! He called his "friends" and they told him differently, so he did not bother telling us he was in partnership with one of his competitors so they could charge a higher AV fee. You do not do business this way.

When I spoke with them on the phone to book my cleaning, they asked if there were any specific issues that needed to be addressed, like mold or pet hair. I told them that I have a dog, but that she is rarely in the car and if she is, she is in a hammock that protects the seats. So we agreed on a standard interior & exterior detail. On the day of my service, I was charged $500 because of pet hair and sap. I let him know that I had told the guy on the phone that I had a dog, and he said that that wasn't noted for him. While they did a perfectly fine job, more transparent pricing would have been appreciated, as a $250 investment is different than a $500 one. It's also worth noting that the crew that cleaned my car weren't from Radiance Mobile Detailing; the business card they gave me was for L&S Mobile Cleaning. It's not a huge deal if Radiance contracts out their work, but their website definitely gives the impression that a Radiance crew will be doing your cleaning. Just disappointed by the lack of transparency.

extremely unprofessional -- TWO no-call-no-shows and zero communication…read more my husband had these guys scheduled to detail our car, and they did not show up. my husband had to call them and the man that answered said that he couldn't get a hold of the person who was supposed to show up. he then offered to reschedule for a discount, and my husband agreed. then radiance mobile no showed again for the reschedule, and when my husband called them, they didn't answer. they have not reached out at all since, probably knowing they lost a customer and not wanting to do the mature thing and own up to their mistakes. there's clearly a reason they are one of the cheaper options.

We interviewed several wonderful planners, but while others spent much of the interview telling us what they could do, Carolyn listened. She took the time to understand our daughter, our family, and what we wanted the wedding to feel like. Hiring Carolyn was one of the best decisions we made. She helped preserve the fun of planning a wedding with my daughter by being the knowledgeable voice in the middle. When my daughter wanted things done early that I thought could wait, Carolyn explained why we should get them done--and when we were getting ahead of ourselves, she told us when to pause. We trusted her guidance completely. As the wedding approached, Carolyn was always calm, available, and several steps ahead. When our DJ cancelled two weeks before the wedding, she already had solutions. When I decided the week of the wedding that I wanted to add more florals, she never got frazzled--she simply made it happen. She ran interference behind the scenes and often solved problems before we even knew there was one. Carolyn gave us an incredible amount of her time and attention, followed through on everything she promised, and went above and beyond throughout the entire process.
