Best honey around! Stop in and pick some up. You will see! It is delicious. Tell him Jerry sent you.

This is my first time getting some Bob's bees Honey.. mostly it's because I wanted to get some local honey because I've heard that helps make allergies less.. I don't know a lot about honey but the blackberry honey that I got is yummy in my tea and tea for other family members.. the hours are a little difficult for me, but I managed to get there during one of my lunch times and the transaction was very quick. Bob was very friendly and honestly I didn't spend that much time looking over all the things, I just pointed at once and I wanted that one..

The Blackberry Honey tastes great and I also liked the Beard Oil he sometimes has for sale.

Our annual Christmas tree hunt goes not farther than Schilter Family Farm…read more The Thanksgiving week end usually slams this tree farm. However, we always find a quality Noble fir if even we have to hunt a bit. This year was REALLY unusual. The Monday after T Day we went with the idea we'd have to spend time searching. The most helpful young man pointed us to a new field of Nobles. And there, no more than 10 feet in from the path was IT (visions of Clark Griswold!). There were countless more even after that Turkey Day rush. The same man came by in his tractor and asked if he could cut it down for us. He had a chain saw. I had a hand saw. No brainer!! The service and selection are first class. Topping this off is the gift shop, where you pay, has all sorts of Christmas related things, including fresh wreaths (which we bought)

Definitely deserving of a spot in the top 10 pumpkin patches in Washington!…read more I've been going to pumpkin patches almost yearly since I was 4 so I consider myself somewhat of an expert. Here's my highs and lows and good enoughs: 5 Stars to: -Plenty of Photo setup spots -Apple cider slush sundae -FRESH & HOT Roasted Corn -Many adult AND kid friendly activities -pumpkin assortment 1 Star for: -No back up generator (Power went out while at the farm and the poor animals were huddled up closer than the people were) -flavorless burgers 2.5 stars (aka good enough) for: -cold apple cider donuts -friendly but antisocial staff -gift shop (Felt more like a very small, 'small business' fair) I think the ticket price was a decent value for what was available!

Came here to look for something the other Olympia Food Co-op on Pacific Ave didn't have and this…read morelocation has a more spread out footprint than the that one. However, I feel that the Pacific Avenue location's crowdedness makes it a little more fun to discover all the little culinary surprises the store has hidden away. What this location has in favor of it was one little wedge of cheese that we've been looking for forever since we moved to Washington State- a wedge of Brillat Savarin. For me, there is no other brie. One time I was at the Cheese Board Collective in Berkeley to find a blue cheese from Asturias when I saw the Brillat Savarin and insisted my mom get it for a party. She asked why the big deal and I said that it's the closest thing a cheese can get to butter. The cheesemonger standing in front of us looked up from his cheese sorting, looked us with crazy eyes and whispered, "No. It IS butter." He then stopped what he was doing to spread out a runny dab for her on a cracker and my mom saw the light. We were so excited about finally finding this cheese when other people heard my sister singing its' praises and they wanted it. There was only one wedge left, so my sister gracefully let another man have it. I mean, how else do you spread the gospel and make converts until other people have had their own spiritual experience. So we'll be back again with the hope that they restock.
