He was very knowledgeable about the history of the industry and when selecting any mattress what kind of investment you are making. Went the clearance route which nullifies your manufactured warranty but your still able to talk options within the first week if it truly feels off. Not many business are willing to extend a hand or help in anyway so that was truly worth rating 5 stars. Will update on quality of mattress when it is received. Lee and Venus will take care of you!

I asked them to take the old bedding out so we could clean under the bed and get the frame ready. No problem for them, they were gracious and super polite and courteous. We now have our new bed. My hardship story began with the DOD calling a halt to all movement including PCS (permanent change of station). My husband had detached from his duty station at the Navy Yard and reported for duty at USSOCOM. By the time the DOD made the order, my husband and I were already in boxes, we owned our home in Florida and our home in Virginia was closing within the week. So, we drove our cars packed with our valuables, our puppies and some clothes to Riverview to begin our new life. We had very little furniture (we'd purchased some things from the seller and bought a few things the day we closed.) COVID -19 ramped up into a surreal state and the Navy could not convince the DOD to turn our move back on. In the meantime, we were sleeping on mattresses lain on the floor. Most places were closed to our needs. Badcock Furniture was open and it was a pretty urgent need (because we aren't spring chickens and a bad night sleep just effects us so hard now). We went to their showroom. We were greeted upon arrival from a most significant distance. We were allowed to browse the floor models after touching items and moving away an associate sanitized anything we were in contact with. Upon making our choices for bedroom furniture the salesmen (who respected social distancing) directed us to pay via electronic pad. With this virus being as serious as it is, my husband was hesitant. The clerk assured him that it was sanitized after each transaction. (Smart) A mere four days later a two man team politely, efficiently and quickly delivered and assembled our bedroom set. They explained each safety precaution to us and proceeded to maintain an acceptable social distance. I've never been so grateful to companies going above and beyond as I have been these last few weeks. My back feels so much better and despite having virtually none of my things the house is gradually starting to feel like home. Excellent work Badcock we will be back in the future.

They have great rebates and discounts, as well as great warranties. Their installation and delivery teams are also great. Our most recent visit was to get a newer Tempur-Pedic mattress to replace our 15 year old one. The one we had was still wonderful. It probably would have lasted another 5 more years, but we wanted the latest LUXEbreeze technology with the cooling properties. I think the biggest decision we had was whether to get a soft or firm mattress. Bobby was super helpful through the entire process. He pointed out that there is a 60 night sleep satisfaction comfort guarantee. We could always exchange the mattress if we found the bed to be too firm or soft (or for whatever reason). We also timed everything right with the rebate and President's Day Sale. Yes, they're expensive. All I can say is it's well worth the cost when it comes to comfort and a good night's sleep. No buyer's remorse whatsoever. We would do it again in a heartbeat. We love our new mattress! Also, I have to agree with other reviewers. DO get that 5 year warranty on major appliances! It's really a small price to pay. We recently had a dryer and a dishwasher that needed repair. We purchased them back in 2020. The LG dryer would have been a costly repair. They initially replaced the rollers, belt, and some other doohickey. It was still making a horrible sound when turning. They ended up replacing the drum. Thankfully it was under warranty. The plastic detergent dispenser on the Frigidaire dishwasher broke. They sent the part in the mail within 2 days and the repair was done within 5 days of calling it into the warranty department. Hey, I'm all about that warranty because it's also worth every penny. We highly recommend Famous Tate!

They do offer delivery and will take your old one away. If the old one is still in decent condition, they donate it which I think is amazing. I got my mattress delivered the very next day and the guys were quick and professional! I was impressed by their skills, they didn't knock into anything in my house. I purchased an Electrolux washer and dryer. When I spoke to the sale man I explained that I had…read moresize restriction for my laundry room. He recommended this set and I purchased it. I feel this sales person left out some important points about the washer - 1. no speed cycle for hot water, 2 the delicate cycle leaves clothes "wet". The first time I called and explained the issue, he said, "you are over your return time, you'll have to deal with the warranty company" or it's probably your vents, which it wasn't since they were just cleaned. I asked if the repair people have COI's, he said they'll have them. The warranty repair ppl came out and left because they didn't have this paperwork. When I called the warranty company, they said they wouldn't cover anything since it wasn't drying the clothes from the beginning. Then I called and spoke to a manager, he explained the functionality. I said it would have been nice if the sale person could have pointed these out upon purchase. He told me that this is how they work and he's never had customers think otherwise, basically insinuating that my functional requests were very uncommon. I told him I would never be purchasing from Famous Tates again, because I could get the same lack of customer service or information from an online purchase. This was my LAST purchase from Famous Tate's.

After a visit to three of the big chains we drove by Mattress Warehouse of Tampa Bay and decided to stop in. My friend saved almost $700 on THE EXACT SAME MATTRESS that we had just seen an hour earlier! The sales woman (Jenifer... I think?) was really knowledgable and friendly and the best part was how fast the process was (so we could get back to the beach!). Anyway, haven't bought here myself but definitely would.
