Ruby Creek Family Farm was the perfect spot. It was only a 20 minute drive from north Fort Worth. You have to sign a waiver at the entrance. For admission, it's $12 per person. Free for 24 months and younger. They take either cash or card. No wait line to get in on a Sunday afternoon for us. The parking is free, and they have a huge lot. It's a short walk from the parking lot to the farm. I love that everything was spaced out from the photo-op areas to the play structures. Let's just say I had a great time making the entire family take cute photos with pumpkins. My son had a blast going up and down the slide. He also enjoyed running on the large jump pad. The live music in the background really set the mood. We didn't pay extra for the hayride. If the kiddos had more stamina, we would have stayed a little longer to look at the farm animals and checkout the food. Overall, we had a great time. Beautiful fall photos were captured, and precious memories were made.

I'm pretty terrible at reading trail maps, but I believe we took the Bluebird trail and followed the signs to Grapevine Lake. The trail leads you right down to the water, where there is a nice little shore to throw rocks and splash around in. Someone even hung a tree swing a few hundred feet up from the lake. So fun! I can't speak for all the trails, but this particular trail was not entirely stroller friendly. I have a pretty nice jogger and a strong man to push it, so we did ok on the trail to Grapevine Lake, but the trail is very narrow in parts and most strollers will be too wide. You need one that is pretty much built for off-roading. The nature center might have a bathroom inside, but all I saw was a porta potty behind a privacy wall. Now is the time to get out and enjoy some outdoor exercise. The weather is crisp and nature is calling. Make your way to Bob Jones Nature Center and take advantage of the beautiful trails and gorgeous lake views.

They commence by escorting you and your children throughout their beautiful and wonderful exhibits. They are so kind and gentle with your children. These marecoulous women get your children engaged in the historical world of Roanoke, Texas. I felt like I traveled back in time. Best of all, our friends were allowed to participate and expand on their knowledge. All their questions were answered so patiently and the children were allowed to touch certain items and explore. The kindness of all these women blew my mind. They even hugged us without hesitation at the end of our unscheduled tour. Also, we are now in their Facebook page, so Yes, they made us famous. It is home to the Hispanic theater company Artes de la Rosa and serves as a venue for other art organizations seeking to provide exciting entertainment to the growing Latino audience of North Texas. Atmosphere: The theater is a little old so it isn't particularly "fancy", but it is a comfortable and nice space with great views at every seat. The space definitely falls into a typical community theater venue set up. Productions: I've only seen two productions here, but both were good and worth the affordable ticket price. Bonus: One must see at the theater is a space that is actually next door to the stage. The Rose Marine has a terrific small gallery space that always has something unique with a Hispanic focus!

There have been a few times that my gate has changed-at the last minute of course-and I've almost lost my breath shuttling to the opposite side of the airport to board my plane in time. Now I know why! This, however, was the first time my gate was located in Terminal D. Lo and behold, there were even MORE dining options but what instantly caught my eye and held my attention was the "Coca-Cola Around the World Experience." It's a Coca-Cola MUSEUM in DFW airport. I happen to enjoy quirky installations in unexpected places, and this one showcases everything from an interactive photo booth to a curated collection of vintage Coke memorabilia and even a digital archives explorer.
