I spent $20,000 on a vehicle there just a year ago, and since then I've had to spend nearly another $20,000 at the same shop trying to fix ongoing coolant and overheating issues. Instead of diagnosing and resolving the underlying problem, they would repair one issue, call it fixed, and send me on my way, only for the vehicle to overheat or break down again on the drive home. I repeatedly asked them to thoroughly test drive the vehicle after repairs to make sure it was actually fixed. They assured me they had, but when I looked at the mileage listed on the repair receipts, they had often driven it only a couple of miles--not nearly far enough for the engine to reach full operating temperature. So how could they honestly say they confirmed it wasn't overheating if they never drove it long enough for the problem to occur? After all of the money I've spent and the repeated promises that the vehicle was fixed, they eventually suggested I sell it back to them, offering only $9,000 for a car I've invested nearly $40,000 into. Based on everything I've experienced, I feel like I was strung along, charged for incomplete repairs, and ultimately taken advantage of rather than treated fairly as a customer.

On September 20th 2024, I brought my 2007 Honda Fit to Steve to take a look at some service lights and a funny noise. He fully diagnosed it on the spot, told me I needed to bring it back for a new transmission and new brakes and that he'd call some parts companies and get back to me with an estimate. He never contacted me again. A few nights ago, 12/2/24 my engine started billowing smoke late in the evening and I emergently had my car towed to hometown after hours, thinking that as a loyal customer they may be able to get me in. Instead, I got a phone call from Steve telling me that they have never and will never work on Honda Fits, my car is blocking the plows (there is no snow) and that I need to bring it elsewhere. I asked for a recommendation, and he told me that no one will work on a Honda fit and he won't send me to one of his friends. I brought up the diagnostics he did, and he told me that when he did it "6 months or a year ago" (actual timeline = 10 weeks) that he did indeed call me back with prices, "or maybe left a message". So in one conversation he both admitted that he did work on my car and looked into parts but that he also has never worked on my car and won't in the future. I think I asked one more question and he told me my keys were in the cup holder and hung up on me. Great business, Steve!

I went a few weeks ago when it was insanely busy with customers switching from winter tires to summer tires. An employee, Jack, took time to explain different tires to me and showed me some options I hadn't even thought of. He was very patient and thorough (I know very little about tires)-- he asked questions that made me feel like he really wanted to make sure I was getting the right tires for my car and not overspending or purchasing something that didn't really make sense. He was very knowledgeable about reimbursement programs, etc. If he didn't know an answer to my question he looked it up right then. Being a female I really appreciated working with him because I honestly feel like most guys in the auto industry just try to rip me off knowing that I know little about cars.

My car is an Alfa Romeo and I'm super cautious of trusting unknown shops to work on it. From the first phone call with the manager Jason, through scheduling and ultimately buying and having Gills Point S Tire install new Falken tires on my Alfa Romeo, the experience was flawless and exceptional. They were above and beyond friendly, polite, professional, and easy to work with. My appointment started exactly when it was supposed to, and I was in and out in 30 minutes on a Monday afternoon. I was shocked how fast the service was and haven driven 30 miles home already, it's obvious the tires were installed correctly. I have been going to another local regional chain and I've always been stuck there 2-3 hours and felt like the staff were annoyed to be so busy.
