He then "ordered" a new motor and shroud and charged me ($900+) as agreed. It is December 8th 2024 as I write this and I still do not have the new blower motor and shroud. I still have the used components installed on my air-handler. I have contacted him numerous times, he has responded with various excuses and even admitted to "having forgotten about us.", and recently has said he was in a car accident and would see about getting someone out to install. (That was over a month ago). I think I have been more than patient with this guy, I try to give small business owners the benefit of the doubt and prefer to use them if possible. Lesson learned though. Advice to new customers... go ahead and pay the bigger company. You will save money and time. We will have to go the legal route to get our product or refund...sad, but the world is full of dishonest folks trying to get your $. I don't think running a business is Kevin's primary concern.

I explained the issue clearly before the appointment. Because of my work schedule as a state trooper, I couldn't be there, so I asked my father to be present during the repair. When I got home, the original issue--the only reason I called--was still broken. Instead, I was billed hundreds of dollars for a completely unrelated part underneath the machine. To this day, I have no idea what was supposedly "fixed," but the actual problem was left untouched. The bill was so high, I could've bought a brand-new washer for the same price. When I called to voice my frustration, I ended up arguing with someone in their office--who wasn't at fault, but I was furious. Bottom line: I feel completely taken advantage of. This was a textbook example of poor service, poor communication, and a complete disregard for the customer. One replaced the cooling fan in the upper compartment the next time they replaced a blower motor in the bottom freezer drawer. The next service call was given to Born 4 Repair. He was very helpful in figuring out was wrong with the refrigerator. All this happened with one month. The entire ice maker unit needed to be replaced. Well, the warranty company decided that was too many service calls in too short of a time, so they refused to cover replacing the ice maker and instead told me to get a new refrigerator. Wish that Born 4 Repair had been here the first time I believe he was definitely more thorough in his inspection and analyzing what was wrong. I will definitely contact him next time I have an appliance that requires servicing.
