Beautiful horses on a great ride.

Brought my adult daughter for a trail ride yesterday. I simply can't say enough positive things about the entire experience. Easy to get to. Easy to reserve. Friendly and welcoming staff. Incredibly responsive horses. Gorgeous ride through the woods. They made us feel like family rather than customers! I truly can't imagine how it could have been a better overall experience! I highly recommend!!

Brought my teenage daughter and a friend for a public guided tour. Such friendly relaxing place! The people are so kind and it was really a great experience. Will definitely do again! They also loved the barn cats and donkey named Pedro freely walking around

My fiancé and I signed up for a horseback trail tour at Bobby's Ranch, and we had a great time hanging out with the horses. The program is "friendly enough" for inexperienced riders (we were both first-timers). My fiancé got Clyde, a handsome fellow behaving like a troublemaker who tripped on a rock and decided to take off uphill. I got Blueberry; she is a 19-year-old, ginormous lady who def was showing some sass at the beginning. Blueberry was such a snacker that she would go off trail constantly. That said, my fiancé and I both had a great time with our horses by the end, and it was overall an enjoyable experience. Though I wish they'd given us more instructions before we hopped on the horses (what to expect, how each horse is likely to behave, how to protect ourselves if something goes wrong...well, maybe if we had signed up for a private trail tour that'd be the case), I would still recommend Bobby's Ranch for the view, the friendly staff, and the beautiful animals. We can't wait to go back again!

On a Shire Horse, I believe! Gentle giant!

Just enjoyed a wonderful private trail ride. I was on a large horse chosen for me with a laid back temperament to match my skill level. No surprises. My instructor was experienced and knew what she was doing. I wore a helmet - several are made available to customers. It's a serene environment with lots of well cared for horses who are well known to staff. Definitely worth a try! Excellent website.

This place is great! There was nothing but fun helpful staff and well kept horses and farm animals. I'm an inexperienced rider and was paired with Foxy, she's a beautiful and gentle horse and listened to the slightest commands. I definitely recommend this place and will go back in a heartbeat!

A friend and I decided to come for an hour long trail ride and had a wonderful time. The fair pricing and ride through some quiet trails in the woods made for a morning well spent. The owner and his family are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the horses are so sweet. You can tell they are very well loved. I'm definitely going to tell more friends and come back! I especially liked how Fletcher, the dog accompanied us the whole trail ride :)

As long as you know what Bobbys Ranch is, and what it offers, you should be happy here. This is a 1 hour trail ride, through the woods, around a pond. The horses are trained to do this. They know where to go, when to walk, when to trot. The horses do everything, the rider just sits on the horse. So as long as you understand that you are NOT riding, but just sitting on a horse, you should be fine. If you don't understand the difference, you will be just fine here. They have helmets to borrow. (Hello headlice?). They just require closed toe shoes. No riding gear required. So a great place for someone who has never sat on a horse before. It's run a bit assembly line fashion. One trail ride comes in, people get off the horses, the horse is led up for a new rider. No effort made to match rider to horse. Beyond size. The stable hands don't even take the time to introduce you to the horse or let you take a picture. And this is the reason I drop a star. It's all western tack. FWIW.

The guides take the horses they need, leave the others, and return the horses here at the end of the ride for the next group.

Cory and Jean possess a high level of integrity unmatched in the horse industry. Together, they strive to help strike the right balance of horse, rider and family. From our first visit to the farm, they made us feel welcome and have provided much guidance and education. Jean's background is routed in a life long passion for horses and a strong business background. She is super organized and detail oriented which I especially appreciate as the person responsible for balancing work and family commitments. Jean sets the horse show schedule a year in advance and even provides detailed estimates for budgeting if you want. The transition to Wellington each winter goes smoothly with horses and riders well taken care of. My daughter has truly grown into a better, more confident rider because of Cory. He is a phenomenal trainer, accomplished rider and role model whose strong work ethic is infectious. He is constantly teaching, incorporating his vast industry knowledge with many life lessons. Goal setting and quarterly meetings are just another example of Cory's thoughtful approach to teaching. He never sends a rider into the ring without being overly prepared. Cory works tirelessly to make sure horse and rider are performing at their absolute best. He also provides direction and advice on everything from navigating the show circuit to the buy versus lease decision. It's no surprise that he is a well sought after trainer. The support staff at NBF is awesome as well. There can't be a better group of grooms anywhere. They take great care of the horses and everyone feels lucky to have them part of the team. Newbury Farm is small by design and a wonderful farm to be a part of. The clientele is a great mix of juniors and adults sharing their love of horses. Cory and Jean give such specialized service, which makes it a truly unique and special place.

Cory and Jean are awesome, and are far from snobs and ditzes. Not only are they great riders, they are great teachers, and are always friendly and easy to talk to. The way Cory teaches is superb- he always gives both praise and criticism, but the critique is never harsh and is expressed positively, and he never becomes frustrated, no matter how many times you have messed up or if you are running out of time. My mom has a horse in training there, and rides frequently, but I've only had a few lessons; yet my riding is already improving, and my ambition and willpower has risen to higher levels thanks to Cory and Jean's pep talks. This is a truly unique barn!
