This restaurant is a real hidden gem. Authentic Indian food, fresh and cooked with pride. I enjoyed a tasting plate with three different regular dishes. All were full of flavor. The price of 11€ is really justified, it is portion wise not far off from a main course. When I lived nearby and I would be frequent guest. I come from an area with a lot of Indian immigrants myself so it was difficult coming to a place like Dortmund where it's hard to get diverse kinds of foods, but Sweet Chili definitely has a lot to offer. Great chicken Vindaloo, and they have no problem giving you a Sri-Lankan level of spice, though they can dial it down if you want. Great roti (no naan, this place is Sri Lankan), and awesome mango lassis. Dishes like the Chili Chicken Hot have always gotten the thumbs-up from friends, and if you want something you can't really get elsewhere, try out the Piddu or the Idiyappam. Well, they kinda seem like their only diffference is their shape but they're still good. Also, that Nana's biryani special is pretty great if you're feeling like a cool enough dude to stand the difference in price.
