Again, because we liked the food we looked the other way and ordered again. The third time they gave us someone else's food all together. When we contacted them there was no apology. The person on the phone had the gaul to say we should have known the numbers on the menu so we could have identified the food before opening it. The solution was for the delivery person to come back and swap the meal that had been delivered with our own. In the meantime during COVID, I can't imagine swapping meals like that is a good idea whatsoever. Sad to say but three times was enough for us, we will not return as customers. I come from an area with a lot of Indian immigrants myself so it was difficult coming to a place like Dortmund where it's hard to get diverse kinds of foods, but Sweet Chili definitely has a lot to offer. Great chicken Vindaloo, and they have no problem giving you a Sri-Lankan level of spice, though they can dial it down if you want. Great roti (no naan, this place is Sri Lankan), and awesome mango lassis. Dishes like the Chili Chicken Hot have always gotten the thumbs-up from friends, and if you want something you can't really get elsewhere, try out the Piddu or the Idiyappam. Well, they kinda seem like their only diffference is their shape but they're still good. Also, that Nana's biryani special is pretty great if you're feeling like a cool enough dude to stand the difference in price.
