Got a kid sized dipped cone. It was HUGE. I could barely finish it haha so beware when ordering. The ice cream was nothing notably special. Just tasted like an ordinary ice cream. The place itself is cute and aesthetic. The workers are friendly.

So yummy! This vintage ice cream shop is perfect for a hot day. Yes the line might be long but it is worth it. The hand dipped cones are my best but they also have food

Yes, the line is usually insanely long. Yes, the operating hours are frustrating. But don't let that deter you from trying Bobbie's Dairy Dip. The banana split was to die for. The entire experience was incredibly nostalgic, and I crave Bobbie's constantly! 10/10!

THE BEST BURGER IN ALL OF NASHVILLE!!! Don't know why I have waited so long to visit but will be a regular going forward. Been in operation since 1951. Chocolate shake that reminded me of my childhood. I was hungry and decided to order the Double Cheeseburger. The thick and hearty beef patties were almost too much at one time. However I managed to power through the meal. The perfect basic toppings of cheese, lettuce and tomato to complement your taste buds. Walk up window to order. Plenty of outdoor covered tables and chairs or picnic style tables for seating. All ages came and went while I was there of both locals and passerbys.

A charming, old-school staple that's been dishing out ice cream for over 70 years! I finally stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon and couldn't be happier I did. I went for the medium chocolate-vanilla twist dipped in chocolate--it hit the spot. There's plenty of outdoor seating with picnic tables, making it a great summer hangout for the whole family. Service was speedy, the line moved quickly, and the prices were more than reasonable. Definitely worth a visit! Just a heads-up: it's card-only, so leave the cash at home!

Well there isn't too much to say about Bobbies which has been serving ice cream for 70+ years. It is a low cost classic ice cream spot that is served all day. Service was very fast and they have some outdoor seating. You can swing in here hand them a few dollars and be on your way with a huge cone of ice cream that will put a smile on your face. If you're in west Nashville you owe it to yourself to stop by and grab a cone or shake!

This historic place reminds me of so many long lost ice cream shops you could find fully packed with crowds over the summer. Places like this are quickly disappearing, so I am glad to have a friend tell me about this local gem. While you can get the traditional soft serve, they had so many other options of any combo or flavor you could desire. I appreciate all the outdoor seating, and fan overhead. The parking can be difficult, as this place is popular. But worth the effort.

A Nashville Gem! If you want soft serve ice cream, you've found the right place! I have been coming here for 30+yrs and you get the same great customer service and great Ice Cream....along with other food selections. The line can get long, but it's definitely worth the wait!

Get what they're known for! The soft serve is amazing! I got a small swirl in a cone. The cone tasted like cardboard, but really enjoyed the soft serve! I also got a burger and it was average. The fries were fine. I would stick to the ice cream here, which is what they're famous for!!

This place is relaxed, quick, and prices are super reasonable. The perfect spot to get a sweet treat!

Heads up they may have a long line nearly leading into the road, so prepare to wait. OAN: Bobbie, you let me down. Strawberry shortcake is by far one of my favorite desserts. So when I seen it on the menu I just knew it was about to be A1 after the description I was given of how it's made. Ice cream 5/5 Strawberries 5/5 Whip cream 5/5 "Small Vanilla cake" (what I was told it was) 0/5....the cake was a biscuit....A BISCUIT! I have never had a strawberry shortcake made with a biscuit. Had I known this before, I definitely would've settled for a specialty shake. The biscuit was dry and very bland. The only moisture the biscuit was able to soak up came from my icecream. I was rather disappointed. But I do encourage you all to try them. The ice cream is great. Just NOT my strawberry shortBISCUIT.

The location of this place is absolutely perfect - right after a damn hot level hot chicken meal from Hattie B's, just walk yourself straight over to Bobbie's Dairy Dip to cool off with a soft serve cone or milkshake. I always treat myself with a small or kid size vanilla soft serve cone dipped in chocolate - the chocolate crackles so nicely, and even though the ice cream really doesn't taste like vanilla at all, it is so nostalgic and comforting. The owner is super friendly, the service is quick and we've never had any issues with our orders. I will say the milkshake is super thick which I prefer, so double straw it if you find those difficult to drink.

***Card only! *** E X P E R I E N C E we came on a Monday around 530pm. there were three other couples here. we were served immediately. there's three benches, capable of seating 8 per. when your order is available, they'll announce it overhead and you'll get it at the pick up counter. F O O D ikettes milkshake: peaches, blueberries and almond extract: so thick. flavors are so distinct and fresh. pup cup: vanilla ice cream, bacon bits and peanut butter: our pup loved it. she wasn't letting me take it away (haha) i only let her have 1/5 if it as it was too much ice cream P A R K I N G probably about 15 spots. mostly along main road but shouldn't be hard to park. my truck could barely fit in the spot though (lol) P R I C E 9

There is a smell so putrid and foul inside that we ate our ice cream and cookies outside in the rain. Initially I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking they were just having plumbing issues, but I see this smell is mentioned in reviews going back at least a year. Every inch of this store smells like sewage but also an animal shelter. I am truly perplexed how they are passing inspections. On top of that, the prices are incredibly steep. My friends each paid $8 for their small cup of ice cream. You can get designer ice cream (Jeni's) for less! Some reviews mentioned bad service, but the employees were kind to us and we had no issues with them.

I just liked their ice cream flavors. First time ever at Jeni's, I had the Bramble Berry Crisp Ice cream in a homemade waffle cone. Jeni created an Oven-toasted oat streusel with a sweet-tart brambleberry jam and layered it throughout vanilla ice cream. The final result? That's some mit-T-fine ice cream, one might say (pinkie to lip, splendid?) The next night I zeroed in on the Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks. Jeni made this ice cream gem with fresh, salted roasted peanuts and chips of rich Belgian dark chocolate flecks. The end result? Jeni, I think I want to marry you. Creamy, dreams peanut butter ice cream stuffed into a warm waffle cone. I see Jeni's ice cream pints in the supermarket. It may be good but gimme a fresh scoop of this delicious ice cream. Service was quick and efficient. One zap of Apple Pay on my phone and I was on my way. Jeni? Call me and bring some pints, 867-5309
