I'd given up on finding boba as good as I'd found years ago but when this place opened so close to home I decided to give another place a shot. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!!! Finally found some mango boba that is perfection and tried mangonada for the very first time. I am now looking for rehab because Theresa's mangonada has me fully addicted. We went there this afternoon and they are letting all their pathos plants die. The dirt is bone-dry and it's really sad. This was one of the few redeeming qualities of this place-the beautiful ambience. Now they charge for samples, overcharge for their product, and have rude employees. Went in really excited for a Thai tea and they were out so I decided on a Taro smoothie instead and what I got looked like a Taro smoothie but tasted like watered down slush. Barely any taro taste or flavor. The best part is $6 for a medium. Way over priced for the quality. Won't be going back. Good product, but lacking in customer service. The staff needs a lot of training and needs to learn to improve their communication. Today we placed an order and paid with the cashier and then the person filling the order said we couldn't get what we ordered because that's not how we were charged. I don't work there, I just order and pay, I can't help that the staff can't figure it out. I understand mistakes happen, but the whole thing came off very argumentative when we didn't do anything wrong. Not a major deal, but still frustrating. All and all a good place for boba. read more

First and foremost, I was super excited to check this place out due to all the positive reviews on here and Google. But from the moment we stepped in, the customer service was HORRIBLE. I brought my mother and my daughter with me. We were the only customers in the store at the time, and not one greeting was given to us even after I said "hi ladies!" I let the being ignored go since my daughter was excited to check out the gelato case. Again, I said to the woman who was standing behind it "how are you today" and all I got was a blank stare. Moments later a gentleman walked in and Both ladies suddenly could speak and said "hi welcome in!" I'm still trying to figure out why that same greeting wasn't given to us. Anyway, finally ready to order, we walk up to the counter and the woman at the register (who I later find out is a manager named Haley) doesn't greet us, just stares at us. So I ask her "it's our first time here, how does this work?" She proceeds to give me a short reply on how to order. We ended up ordering a Thai tea with traditional boba, a peach slush with mango popping boba, a cantaloupe snow with cantaloupe popping boba and strawberry swirl gelato. The drinks are too sweet and artificial. The Thai tea was mediocre. So not only was the customer service absolutely horrible, but the traditional tapioca boba is absolutely disgusting. It's over cooked and chews like gum. I think the only reason this place is getting rave reviews is their huge selection on popping flavor boba. So to anyone else who is on the search for delicious boba and awesome customer service, save your trip and your money and SKIP THIS PLACE. I'll continue my loyalty and drive all the way to Phoenix at Milk Run on 17th Ave and Camelback. read more

If i could do a negative rating i seriously would. The shop alone is super cute cool atmosphere but literally everyone that is working right now 10/8 should REALLY get some costumer service training because that is not it. I would NEVER come back here. I don't think I've ever felt so uncomfortable. The person at the register (short hair, glasses) was ridiculously rude not a hi or welcome a smile, i got "how can i help u" what the???? Holding it together i order, wait for my drink and the male worker didn't even make any eye contact or anything he basically slid the drink to the edge, after i said thank you there wasn't even an acknowledgment. So, if you know me, you know how much I LOVE bubble tea. I found my new favorite....right in Goodyear!! So far, 2 days in a row, I got Jasmine tea with cantaloupe with crystal boba. The best! Just the right amount of flavor and sweetness. SO very refreshing!! When I'm in town-I will always stop here! I definitely recommend as the people working there are also incredibly nice, cheerful and helpful! read more

My first time here and the employees were very helpful, and genuinely nice. My chai tea latte was made half sweet and I had black sugar and tapioca pearls added. It was very good. (FYI- Black sugar tastes like molasses and maple, in my opinion.) The environment of the place is very calm and relaxing. I'm going to try the gelato next time, which looks delicious! read more

I love the variety of drinks and they have dairy free which makes this place a plus for me and my family.

This place is aesthetically clean and well furnished. I always used to go to JT Boba down on Watson Rd in Buckeye, and they only had 2 sizes. Meanwhile you Bobazona is equipped with all 3 sizes. JT Boba is too very freaking expensive! Each drink is around $10-$11. Considering the fact if one is wanting to experiment new flavors, if you don't like your drink, then you've wasted about $10. To also note, they have been out of tapioca boba for a very long while. That is very depressing as their drinks are very good as well. I'd rather make a 10 minute trip from Buckeye to Goodyear to get a cheaper price and higher quality drinks AND GELATO!! Fair to say, I cannot recommend Bobazona enough as their workers are very nice and always there to help out. 5 stars. read more

It was my first time going to this place today and this is my experience. I tried their gelato, which you're able to pick two flavors. They have plenty to choose from, but I just tried out their strawberry and vanilla and they turned out great, just as you would hope they would. I also ordered a drink with boba. The flavor was decent, and I let them know what my thoughts were about it while I was still there. They offered to remake it to the way that I like and it came out great! Much better than the first one! In the end, the gelato was great and they made my drink how I wanted. So I'll be giving them a 5 for both product and service! read more

Ordered the Taro slush boba. It was very watered down and very little to no flavor at all. Not sure why this place was given 4 stars. Perhaps no one has really tasted what a really good boba taste like. If you are looking for good boba, stay clear from this place. It's a waste of money. read more

Extremely long wait, rude employees. When I asked how long my order would be after waiting close to 20 min, the employee responded with 'when I get to it it will be ready' Dealing with upper management was not great either. I reached out to them via social media and they never even responded to my message. I also believe they over charged me. Charging for 'double scoops' when you order only one. read more

The boba is alright, the employees are alright, everything is just mediocre here. It feels like the place cares more about their image & being trendy than anything else. The mostly female staff always seems super annoyed to be there & take your order. I've been here several times willing to give them the benefit of the doubt (bad/slow day, etc.) but it's always this stank attitude these employees have. I once came in an hour before they closed but they seemed be trying to leave already & when I ordered my honeydew milk tea the woman taking my order (right in front of me) shouted to the woman in the back my order & made a long glare seemingly annoyed with my order for whatever reason. The employees feel like the mean girls in high school got together to open a boba place & get annoyed when actually have to work lol. No matter how busy (or lack thereof) they are, they take sooooooooo long to make your boba. I always get honeydew milk tea but here it tastes bland & watered down, so I order my second go to (vanilla milk tea) & those are better. I add honey boba & it's always very chewy & gets stuck to my teeth. The only reason I occasionally go back to this place is because it's close, otherwise I go to Milk Run for all my boba instead. read more

I personally don't like boba drinks, but my daughter and husband are boba snobs. They are super picky, and love this place! They like that you can mix and match all of the elements and said all the drinks they've had (7+) taste great. Our new fave spot for cool treats! The name is deceiving that it is boba place, but they have more to offer on their menu - gelato and nitro cold brew. I went for the matcha green tea gelato. Yum! I overheard the owner tell another customer to try POG drink which is a Hawaiian flavor - Passion Orange Guava. That will be my next thing to try. Just stopped in for the first time finally after seeing a Facebook ad and the drinks looking delicious. Inside is so cute and trendy with a fun grass wall and neon sign for selfies and promotion. The whole place was bright and clean. Gelato looked amazing but didn't try it today. The young guy that greeted me was very friendly and offered to answer any questions and took my order well. I got the Arizona Sunset refresher and added the energy, it was so good! Prices were very reasonable and I'll definitely be back soon to try more!
