Great new local boba spot! It's a must try! The pastries and bubble tea are DELICIOUS!!! I tried the lavender earl, hot dog milk break and cream cheese garlic bread. All were phenomenal!! The pastries are baked fresh daily.

I placed an order through doordash and also bought additional ones after seeing the size of the pastries in person. They are buttery, flaky with a pineapple filling in the center. Not overly sweet, just perfect. Finding the restaurant was pretty easy but the instructions of getting assistance for pickups and orders was kind of confusing leading to a wait.

Our first visit. Taro Brown Sugar & Oreo Oolong Cream Boba plus some Macha cake with red bean paste. Delicious! Can't wait to try more!

sunny skies boba(medium) and earl gray boba with extra tapioca(large)

stopped in on black friday for a quick bite. got a sunny skies boba and a mozzarella panko dog and my mom had an earl gray boba. all were delicious:) Im not usually a fan of barbecue sauce but the savory flavors balanced well with the sweet ones on the panko dog. staff was friendly and efficient. will definitely return next time Im down in OC to try other menu items^-^

Matcha Red Bean Cake - they had it done within four hours of my order.

Ordered the Matcha Red Bean Cake for my dad's birthday - and for a picky sweets eater - he absolutely loved it! Not too sweet, perfect amount of red bean flavor in the middle. The matcha cake itself may have been over shadowed by the red bean but that MATCHA CREAM ON THE OUTSIDE WAS AMAZING. Give me a cup full of that matcha cream and I'd be good to go. While there, we also tried the asian pudding (a must try - so so good). It tasted like a semi sweet decadent flan. The vanilla cream puff was big, flaky, and creamy but lacked a bit of flavor. I think maybe the matcha might be a better try! Lastly, the Vegan Oreo Chocolate Mousse was more like a pudding rather than a Mousse. Although a great option to have for vegans, unfortunately, was not too impressed. I mean I would have tried all of the desserts really - they all looked amazing. But overall not a bad experience what so ever. Unfortunately, the location of the bakery is the biggest downfall. For being a small business, I hope they find a new location one day. It was sketchy and weird, and honestly, if I did not assume that the couple in front of me was looking for the same place, I probably would have been circling the area. Even after you enter the sketchy hallway, the sign above the door reads something that does not say Boba Works. Unfortunately, I'm sure this is out of their control but hoping the best for this local small business!

Oolong milk tea, matcha tiramisu, egg tart, and mochi brownie.

After discovering this place for only three days, I've ordered from here twice already. The concept is pretty different, it's strictly just take out or delivery and does not accept cash as they share a counter and kitchen with other restaurants. The desserts here are amazing, pricey but totally worth it. Highly recommend the matcha tiramisu and Asian flan. It's so good! Egg tart is delicious also, traditional egg tart that you would get from a Chinese bakery but slightly bigger in size, thus probably why it cost a little more. I recommend the milk tea over the smoothie though, got the avocado smoothie and it didn't taste very good, had a bitter after taste. The oolong milk tea was very good. Would definitely be ordering from here again and can't wait to try more from here!

Matcha Red Bean Cream Cake - Inside

Ordered a Matcha Red Bean Cream Cake for my sister's birthday, and we loved it! Wasn't too sweet and looked really cute. The flavors were definitely there, and it happened to be one of my favorite combinations. The fresh fruits on top were also a nice touch. Online ordering system was simple to use and lets you order well in advance. Also got the Butterfly Pea Bubble Tea; it was my first time seeing/trying this. Hard to describe but it was certainly a unique tea flavor (similar to matcha tea), tasted good and had a beautiful color. Can't wait to go back and try the other pastry goods!

If you think Boba works only offers boba tea, you're mistaken. This hidden gem in the Linwood Exchange offers not only a number of different teas but I number of different desserts. Pictured is their Uber cookie (made from Ube, a purple type of potatoes that originates in the Philippines). This cookie is much different from your traditional cookie, as it's not as sweet. The white chocolate chips offer a sweetness. Also pictured is a chocolate macaron and butterfly tea. For you-non-caffeinated kids, they depict all the ingredients within their teas!

I go here at least once a week for my bubble tea cravings! They make their boba from scratch and their tea is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the jasmine green tea, oolong tea, and lavender earl tea with boba. The homemade flan pudding and crystal boba toppings are yummy additions. The owner makes amazing mochi donuts on the weekends and throughout the week bakes fresh bread and macaroons! I recommend the cream cheese garlic bread.

One of my favorite local places! Hands down the the tastiest and most unique desserts in the area!

Sakura Rose Tea and the Brown Sugar Milk Tea
Jose T.

Everything we got was great! I have no complaints at all! We got the Sakura Rose Tea, the Passion Paradise, and the Brown Sugar Milk Tea they were excellent. Then the 1/2 and 1/2 Cheese Dog was out of this world. We also got the Panko Cheese Dog which was really good. Then topped it off with the Pineapple Cakes which were outstanding. There are plenty of things to try and we will most definitely be back!

Basque Cheesecake
Jennifer Y.

It is such an amazing cheesecake! It's so different from the typical dense cheesecake. The reason true is so light and fluffy that it just melts in your mouth. Sometimes you don't even realize it and it's almost gone! Definitely recommend trying the Basque Cheesecake!!!! If anything you can try the mini size version of it!

Lavender Earl & Brown Sugar Tiger Milk Tea (both with boba pearls of course!)

You order at the counter & they'll call out the number on your receipt when it's ready. They don't have seating, but you can find benches throughout the boardwalk. My favorite item is the chicken wings! They're so crispy & the spicy chili sauce is my absolute favorite! It's actually spicy - I'd say a 7 out of 10 with a hint of sweetness. The meat inside is tender & juicy but you'll need plenty of napkins & wipes for that sticky sauce! There are other sauce options if you can't do spicy, but this particular sauce is the best in all of south Jersey in my opinion. They also have Korean rice bowls with bulgogi beef, pork, veggie or spicy tuna. I've tried the beef & pork & both were very delicious & authentic!

Korean food isn't naturally my first thought when going down the shore but I'm glad it's an option. My wife and I split the chicken sandwich (spicy honey soy) and corn dog (half cheese/hotdog). The chicken sandwich was a generous portion. Anytime I get "spicy" at a restaurant/fast food spot it's not spiced enough but this packed a punch. Nice balance with the sweet from the honey and the salt from the soy. It was topped off with a refreshing slaw. My only gripe was the bread. If I had to guess it was potato bread. It was super soft but dense/heavy. It was still an A+ sandwich. Came with a bag of chips and canned soda. The corndog was nothing short of amazing. Great crunch, melted mozzarella, and quality dog (Nathan's or Hebrew). I got it drizzled with spicy mayo and ketchup. I preferred the corndog as it was easier to eat. Get plenty of napkins or you'll wear your food . I would highly recommend and can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
