I had the lemon water ice and it was delicious. We walked the length of the boardwalk and i was dying for a refreshing drink or treat. It's droolworthy delicious and inexpensive. It's a small shop, not too busy. If you have sensory issues, this place isn't too overwhelming. It can get crowded during busy hours, but for the most part chaos is absent. If you find yourself craving something sweet and reviving, Aloha is the place to go. read more

Customer service isn't good at all. The two young girls behind the counter were more worried about joking with the young kids than actually acknowledging paying customers. I figured my money wasn't good enough for an ice cream shop on the boardwalk, so I started walking out, the two girls behind the counter couldn't care less. I'm big on customer service and sorry but that generation has NO customer service. I know it's a crappy low paying job, but have some pride in what you do and at least acknowledge the customers that come in that are paying your wages. Maybe it was just a bad day and they weren't on their best game, I don't know, but not that anyone cares, but you definitely lost a first time customer. read more

Aloha Soft Serve - Time stamp - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Ocean City, New Jersey

I am some what famous for walking down the OCNJ boardwalk with a cup of Dole Whip in one hand and a bowl of Crunch Chik'n delights in the other happily munching away, while my family searches for me. Aloha Soft Serve has many choices including Dole Whip in cherry, strawberry, pineapple, and orange. A cup or a cone of this frozen confection currently costs $6.95. Dole Whip is a soft serve consistency and is dairy free. They have lots of toppings and other frozen treats so we really should branch out, but we got our old favorite pineapple with rainbow sprinkles ( on a side note, I only use the term jimmies for chocolate sprinkles, I'm from Delco so yeah, enough said). The service was quick and friendly. The place is clean and the serving size was fair. There are lots of choices for your sugar fix on the boardwalk. Aloha Soft serve is a sweet one! read more

Wooo! I needed an after lunch treat and decided to go for some aloha self serve. I decided to do the pineapple and strawberry twist. The pineapple was tart and sweet and the strawberry was sweet and creamy. Def..preferred the strawberry side than the pineapple. Overall it was very sweet so I didn't end up finishing all of it. Overall a very refreshing treat on a hot day! read more

Aloha Soft Serve - a close up of a soft serve - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Ocean City, New Jersey

Awesome little spot towards the end of the boardwalk. Easily could be missed amongst the neighboring shops but I hope you don't! Aloha sells different flavored Dole Whip (see definition below), milkshakes, sundaes, and ice cream sandwiches. I opted for the pineapple Dole Whip and it was delicious. It's most similar to a pineapple soft serve. Don't limit yourself with the Dole Whip, add your favorite toppings! I added peanut butter sauce and rainbow sprinkles (yes! RAINBOW sprinkles, I don't know anything about "Jimmies"). Super refreshing for a summer treat. A tasty treat on a hot day is a Dole Whip from Aloha Soft Serve. This cooling creation is like a whipped confection relying almost solely on Dole's pineapple juice. I don't really understand how it is made but I love the results. Besides the original Pineapple Dole Whip, there is also a strawberry whip. The richness of the flavors in this dessert treat and the totally pleasant staff working at Aloha Soft Serve make this place a sure bet on the Ocean City Boardwalk and a worthy addition to the boardwalk food offerings. As a result, I happily say Aloha to this establishment serving up this very tasty concoction. "Aloha!" Tip: There is no dairy at all in a Dole Whip which is great for the lactose intolerant. read more

It's so nice to have an ice cream alternative on the boardwalk! I got the twist with strawberry and pineapple whip and it's so fresh, light, and tangy tasting. The customer service is always friendly, quick to offer samples. We took ours to go tonight and the lids, spoons, and carrying tray were incredibly helpful. I imagine we will be back this week and for years to come. read more

Came here today and really enjoyed it! I felt like the Dole Whip was much more authentic this time. It was very creamy, tangy, and delicious. Dole is the supplier so it definitely tastes more like the Dole Plantation's dole whip. This time we just shared a large which was $6.25 (tax included). It was a little more economical than buying a kids cup and a regular cup. I do think the prices are a bit steep here though... read more

My heart skipped a beat after seeing that big, red 'Dole' sign. Could this be Dole Whip?! It was! For anyone who had been to the Dole Plantation in Hawaii or World Disney Parks before knew how magical they are! Even better news for the lactose intolerant folks like myself, they are dairy-free! My first Dole Whip was at the Dole Plantation in Hawaii and I was in love with it ever since! Super happy that I will found it here at Ocean City, NJ. It was only opened about three months ago! Aloha Float. Simply Dole Whip with Pineapple Juice. Dole Whip was smooth, sweet, and exploding with pineapple flavors. I love it! Dole pineapple juice is sweet and refreshing as always. Aloha Soft Serve - Aloha Float - Dole Whip & Pineapple Juice. So freakin' amazing!!! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Ocean City, New Jersey

I came all the way to Ocean City just for this place! It was actually a surprise from my boyfriend because I always wanted to try Dole Whip and this is the only place in NJ that sells it. I was not disappointed. We both got the Aloha Float and this was just so refreshing! I loved the pineapple soft serve with the juice... it was so hot today and this was perfect for a hot day! Service was very friendly and the store was small with almost no air conditioning so it was quite hot but everything was delicious! Definitely worth a trip. read more

Aloha Soft Serve - Dole Whip - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Ocean City, New Jersey

Absolutely delicious! I went to the boardwalk with family and we kept walking down because I like how the tourists don't really go down that far, unlike the other side of the boardwalk near castaway cove and Gillian's this is far down off the beaten path I would think. Anyway, when I saw it my jaw hit the floor. I don't eat dairy, so I was all In. They had pineapple and strawberry soft serve. I was sold. My first vibe from the kid at the register was off setting. I felt like he was annoyed we had so many people in our family or something ... but there was a long line. And maybe that's just his personality and I read him wrong. My daughter got a sundae and the boy at the register was also making the sundaes, and another girl was making our dole whip on cones. The sundae was a build your own, and you tell them which toppings you want and you get 3 toppings. My daughter got marshmallow, nerds and something else. There were SO many toppings it was insane. I had to scoop them off because my daughter hated it. And this is where the boy at the register who made the sundae cracked a joke about bedtime. I instantly was like oh, okay he's fun. Gotcha. Must just be late and he's tired, probably wants to go home. I don't blame him! My other daughter got a cookie dough milk shake, she said it was delicious and she sucked up the whole thing. My son got vanilla soft serve. It was delicious (I'm assuming because he ate the whole thing!) we will definitely be coming back! It's good to know this place it is here! Oh and I forgot to mention our waffle cones starts to leak out the bottom early on. I don't know how great the cones are. They taste good for sure! But they are super messy. In fact, the bench we were sitting on was covered with melted ice cream. I am only image it was from their customers who has cones that fell apart too. read more

This is my favorite ice cream place on the whole boardwalk. I am lactose intolerant and absolutely love ice cream and this place is the best because the dole ice cream doesn't have any dairy in it. It is almost like a sherbet but with soft serve ice cream texture. On a hot day when you're walking on the boardwalk it's a must. The two flavors they had when I was there were strawberry and pineapple which is the most refreshing flavors to be twisted together. This place brings me so much joy I almost go every single night. They have a punch card too (I love punch cards). The first punch gets you nothing, the second punch gets you a free topping, and the third punch get you 50% off then you can get a new punch card! Wish there was one close to where I lived! Try it out! read more

Aloha Soft Serve - Dole whips!! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Ocean City, New Jersey

Was looking so something delicous ans somewhat healthy and stumbled upon this place. The pineapple whip was delicous and refreshing.

This was gross. I ordered a Oreo milk shake, they advertise as 20oz delicious shakes. It was so watery and milky with no creaminess to it at all. It was the same consistency as a poured glass of milk. I walked out the door, took a sip, and threw it directly in the trash. It was disgusting. It was also over 5$ so don't waste your money, it really was a disappointment. Explains why the place was empty. The staff wasn't very friendly. The adult lady was nice and made a few suggestions at first but the child who made my milkshake was more involved in sharing whatever internal gossip he had with the girl coming on shift than to focus on what he was supposed to be doing. LAME! read more

Small store, but I love the pineapple dole whip! Never got the chance to try the legit Disney version, so I can't really say if it tastes the same, but it's delicious nonetheless. Staff was friendly and the place was clean, not much else to say. read more

The only place you can find Dole Whip on the boardwalk, and possibly in the tri-state area. The strawberry and pineapple Doe Whip twist has to be my favorite thing to get here but the milkshakes look so good so maybe I'll try one soon. The owners are so nice and so grateful of all the patrons that come in and enjoy their product. Really, this place is a hidden gem on the boardwalk and I would recommend to anyone to give it at least one try and if they doesn't hook you, you aren't human. read more

If you pass by when they are giving out samples, you can usually get a free topping coupon. The chocolate chips are delicious on any flavor of dole whip.
