I've been coming here for over a year now and it has always been something to look forward to when I'm in town. My usual is strawberry matcha and sometimes I add egg pudding to it. I love the taste of fresh strawberries in with matcha and that's hard to come by. They have always been super friendly and helpful when I've been in. The last couple of times I was in a hurry and had to use the online ordering for convenience. I love being able to do that. The boba shop is cute and welcoming when you first enter. Great little place that uses REAL FRUIT in their drinks, offers 9 levels of sweetness customization and plenty of combos and add-ins. The flavor of our drinks was perfect, but next time we would ask for less ice. The gentleman working was very pleasant and was able to answer our questions and make recommendations. The staff was really friendly and happily answered any questions we had. There's sitting area for waiting or hanging out. There were 2-3 other parties in there at the same time, so I'd say they were moderately busy and had a good customer base. We got the Thai tea and mudflip coffee. The Thai tea tastes great! My boyfriend got the Mudflip coffee - it's good but it's sweet! So if you're not a sweet coffee drinker it may not be for you. Would recommend this place! read more

Coming from LA, and being quite the boba snobs we had low expectations for finding good bubble tea in NWA! But Boba Journey exceeded our expectations for quality of drinks, freshness, options and the fact that they make their chai, Thai tea and cheese foam in house, and use ceremonial grade matcha for their lattes! They also accommodated my special request of sweetening my drink with honey instead of syrup. We have driven by Boba Journey for a couple of months now (newly opened 5ish months ago) and we're really glad we gave this a go tonight - it is now our favorite boba place in town HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We ordered 4 drinks and they were all delicious Our 4yo had the Blueberry Milk Tea, highly recommended as they prepared the berries fresh and the flavor is just right (not too sweet and actual fruit is such a bonus especially with little ones). I got the Dirty Matcha, strong matcha milk tea flavor and super creamy; hubby got the Brown sugar milk tea, I think that's a fan favorite and I can see why. My son wanted a Watermelon slushie but they only had the milk tea option, but the owner customized it into a slushie and it was very delicious - needless to say, incredible customer service!! Every time, the owners, Apple and Aaron greet me with familiarity as they do with all their regulars. They are always so helpful and accommodating to your liking. I always get the brown sugar creme brûlée and substitute the tapioca pearls. It is to die for! Not to mention, the ambiance is unbeatable. We were pointed to the tricolor Fruit milk drink for our toddler, he loved it and so did we. No caffeine and nice fresh fruit bits inside.
