Established in 1990, Dave has been around for a while. When I called in recently to pick up some lamb chops, he was there with his assistant chopping up chickens with dexterity, talking as he worked. He's an affable character with a good sense of humour, and takes real care with everything he does. His window display is simple but effective, and daily signs are created in beautiful script, letting passers-by know exactly what's on offer.
