I had a horrible experience last week with Ryan and store manager Danny. I went to return the bell…read morekit I had been renting for several years too long. The equipment was lost in a divorce/death of a family members home. I have never missed a payment up until July of this year, as a result of my debit card being stolen and having to cancel it. When customer service called to get an updated card, I explained I had already been renting it way too long, from when my son was in junior high and he is now grown and a US Marine. I would rather return what I did have in my possession than give another credit card. Customer service told me I had rented it for so long that the instrument belonged to me but to go return it and be prepared to walk out with it based on the equity I had. Ryan was trying to do his job but needed assistance from Danny who was absolutely horrible. He was rude, condescending and had zero customer service skills, while going back and forth with me in front of another customer. The instrument I owned at that point, Danny and Ryan said I could not take it so they basically stole something that belonged to me. Danny was absolutely horrible. Ryan was following his managers lead but for them to take an instrument that costumer service said was mine is despicable. Shame on you Ryan and Danny for your lack of professionalism, especially in front of other customers. I spoke to customer service again today and I filed a complaint. If you don't know how to work with customers and be kind, you should find another profession.

I went in they quoted me $90 for a cleaning and shine with an estimate of 1-2 week turnaround time. I was called the next day to inform me the instrument was going to need more then expected and it went up to $160 SAME turnaround time. My very inpatient son after a week in a half asked me to call and get an update. I did but they didn't have an update. A little over 2 weeks I called a they say instrument will be in on Friday. I call they say not ready they will me it went on like that for what felt like for ever.

Previously, she had only had experience with Baritone and was unfamiliar with reed instruments. Finding a knowledgeable instructor was a challenge. Thankfully, she found a fantastic instructor. Her instructor, Lucas, has been patient and supportive with her. He has been focusing on the important skills and note techniques that will be needed. Most importantly, my daughter loves going to class and plans to continue to developing her skills with private lessons along with what is provided in the classroom. Lucas is formally trained and has a degree in music. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a top notch music instructor who has experience with a multitude of instruments and has a fun positive attitude. The shop owner is also very nice and I can tell she really wants students to learn and be successful. Highly recommended. A+++

So far, I am very impressed with how professional they are and how much my kids have enjoyed their lessons. The instructors are very patient and kind. This place is clean and pricing is reasonable. Some other places I was looking at had a much darker atmosphere in terms that they seemed to be geared to older children who liked a gothic style. I was uncomfortable with my young children being in that kind of environment. This place is bright and feels very safe. I am very happy I found Music & Arts!

My girl, bless her introverted heart, dipped her toes into viola in middle school in 2021. By the spring of 2022, she wanted to level up her skills, but finding the right teacher was a saga. None of the recommendations from her school panned out, until fate stepped in when I spotted a sign for in-home music lessons, and the rest is history. Two years on, and I couldn't be happier with Mr. Goran's impact. Sure, my daughter's still a bit shy on stage, but behind the scenes, her progress is something to behold. She's heading to high school soon and even talking about auditions for the advanced orchestra - all thanks to Mr. Goran's attention and encouragement. I enjoy listening to her practice and as someone who doesn't read music or play any instruments, I am glad to have Mr. Goran visit every week and amazed at her transformation. What's great about Mr. Goran is his friendly demeanor and stellar communication. He understands kids - especially awkward teens like mine--no fuss, no drama - just pure dedication to his craft and his students.
