They had the experience, dedication and the technology to diagnose and resolve the issue. Other services since have always been informative and their communication is clear and precise. They even tracked down a spare part for me from a wreckers (other centres didn't even try and only recommend new parts). Can't fault them at all! Price: Very reasonable. Location: Parking on premises but also has ample on-street parking. Also reasonably close to the city but definitely not walking distance. Other: If you end up servicing your car here and it works out well for you mention my name to them and refer them to others. I believe we'll both get discounts for future services. These guys typify the 'dodgy mechanic' stereotype. Horrible experience all round. Offered no…read morecommunication whatsoever and when I contacted them, the mechanic was very abrasive and unhelpful. After waiting for an update on my car, I called them only to find out that they had gone ahead and replaced the clutch cable without notifying me of what the diagnosis was or any sort of quote for the work. As expected, they charged me an exorbitant amount ($780) to replace the clutch cable, which included $350 for the cable itself (hard to find these online for more than $50) and $400 labour. As if it couldn't get any worse from these guys, I drive home and notice a huge dent in the front left panel with paint & rubber scrapings surrounding it (as well as greasy fingerprints from when he inspected the damage) - presumably he scraped another car that was in the shop. These things happen - but the deplorable part was that the mechanic never mentioned it, let alone offering to fix it since it was his fault. DO NOT take your car here, they will take every opportunity to rip you off.
