My husband and I just closed on a condo in Blooomington that Cheri Miller helped us find. We live…read moreout of state so we were worried about bridging the distance ... no need to worry! The entire house hunting, offering, and closing process was very easy and relatively stress-free. Her years as a realtor (and even more years as an active community member) put her in a strong position to connect people with real estate. We were particularly impressed with how Cheri handled a difficult closing. We had asked for professional cleaning as part of our offer and the seller declined. Her agent promised Cheri that she would personally make sure that the condo would be clean on inspection/closing day. Quite the opposite happened... the condo was filthy! The seller had 4 cats and it was quite obvious that little time had been spent cleaning. There were streaks on the laminate floor so we could see the seller had attempted something, but that something was not a clean property. Cheri went to bat for us with the seller's agent and held her ground on what had been promised to us by the agent, even going so far as to wait at the property while we went to closing so she could meet the seller's agent at the condo and show her. The other agent was quite put out with our standards and made no attempts to apologize or remedy the broken promise. Though Cheri warned us that the closing could be contentious, she maintained a professional demeanor that set the tone for our closing. If not for Cheri and her team, there is no doubt we would have been frazzled and flustered. They never wavered on supporting us and being in our court. I give my highest recommendation to Cheri Miller of Bernick Homes. Reach out to her ... you won't be disappointed.

I was having a hard time finding a home and Chris came along with the offer to rent his family home and I was honored. But when I moved in, the house was not clean, I had an 8 month pregnant wife who was not able to take care of it and so I did. An anomaly, right? I was told upon moving in that if I ever had a problem, I should contact him directly due to his tie to the home and that lasted until the sink collapsed downstairs and I had to rush back from work to investigate. I called for over a week with no response and a text from a new assistant that said I should not contact him anymore and that all dealings would go through her. Now in the meantime I was waiting I had taken pictures and video in the aftermath and a few weeks later, it was finally taken care of. I also was promised a door for my daughter's room that only came over 6 months later and constant calls about when it would be done. In the interim of waiting, I was told that I should take a door from another part of the house and use that! The communication breakdown goes much further but I will take legal action for the rest including charging for things that were clearly a problem when I moved in and I have pictures. The saddest part is that what was supposed to be the greatest part of my life was tainted by someone who I thought was a good person and had the best intentions. I never withheld a rent payment, was late or had any retaliatory actions toward this realtor, but I cannot judge why some people do what they do.

Recommendation for Zac Bidelman/Keller Williams Preferred Realtor/Huerkamp Home Group…read more I first met Zac Bildelman after inquiring about a property that I was interested in. He made an appointment and showed me the property that same day. My first impression was that he was knowledgeable and able to answer my questions readily. I realized over time that because of all his additional attributes (Professional, always responsive, and very patient), he was the perfect realtor. It had been over 30 years since my husband, and I had previously scoured the cities in search of that one perfect realtor to help us find the house that was perfect for us at that time. Zac Bidelman patiently spent at least two years showing me various properties. He quickly fine-tuned the amenities that I was in search of until it basically came down to 3 or 4 properties. Once the perfect location came on the market, he helped me create an offer that he presented immediately. His quick action was the sole reason that I was able to buy the property that was perfectly suited to me. The second phase of my quest was to subsequently sell my house. During that process Zac assisted me with the preparations of getting the house we built 33 years prior ready for sale. His company hired an inspector and then advised me how to prioritize what to repair from the inspector's list. Zac had a "Stager" available to me who helped me get the house aesthetically ready to be viewed. The professional photographer that he used took exceptional photographs that helped present my house in the best possible light. This also included drone shots which helped highlight the fabulous view from and around my home. Regarding setting the sales price of my house, he listened to my input of what I felt the price should be set at - given that I knew my property and adjacent locations so well after living in the house for over three decades. Because of his skills as a realtor, my home sold in one day. For any and all of the above-stated reasons, I wholeheartedly recommend Zac Bidelman and his very accomplished assistants and team. Zac's contact info is as follows: (612) 712-9936 zac@hhgus.com

We bought our home with Billy virtually across the country. At first we were sure that we wanted to…read morestart looking at houses after we moved to Minnesota. Buying something as expensive and important as a house virtually seemed nuts. But as the new year began we started getting the urge to just take a look. Who knew that within just a few weeks we would have an accepted offer? There is no one else we would have felt comfortable buying remotely with. And the only reason we changed from just looking to seriously buying was because we came to trust and rely on Billy's opinions. He is not just a savvy and knowledgeable realtor, he is truly a sincere and nice guy. He would warn us that even if we lose out on a house, in the end it always works out (and SPOILER ALERT he's right). But he still commiserated with us when we were outbid and he really went above and beyond when we were searching for the right home. And he really does want to find you the right home. He will be honest with you about any negatives he sees and he will steer you away from any bad decisions. Sometimes we were so keen to just get a house that we were willing to settle or make hasty decisions. But Billy makes sure that whatever house you get is a great house and whatever you do is sound and smart. And I'm so glad that he was there with us helping make all our decisions. He would give us daily updates of his endeavors going door to door and networking with other agents. In the end it was a note of his he left on the door of a house that was off the market that did the trick. We were able to buy a house that was miles better than any of the other houses we put offers on with basically no other competition. In the crazy housing market right now you need someone like Billy who is willing to go the extra mile. He was always trying innovative techniques to help us stand out amongst other buyers and that's exactly what it takes these days. He's continued to be invaluable after closing. He was great to bounce ideas around with about updating the house after moving in and he and Heather have been great with recommendations. He is always super responsive and I'm so glad I can still rely on him even after we've closed.

After sale, we left a few small items by mistake in a cabinet we forgot to clean out.. New home owners wanted us to pay $200 to get our stuff or remove the wood trim and carpet we had left up in the garages rafters. Asked Chad to talk to them and help us out since we moved 70 miles away These item were use able to the house. He did not return my call after speaking with the new owners and finally responded to my text that the new owners told him it was garbage and that we should deal with them? Really????...No follow up customer service. We went the next day to go get our things and pay the new owners. After that I texted him how disappointed I was with his service, he said he would of helped? Really, how I asked? He never responded. Finally I texted him again on how he was planning to help us? He finally replied our deal was done, it's over! Sad ...since we are out of the area I guess we don't matter anymore. Would NOT recommend to ANYONE.
